A Fight That Returns |Private| Only Gingerpelt~ And Starlight~

Dreamkit was unsure about the kits. It did not seem right to her. " The kits were never nice to me before.. I bet its because the queens are watching them.." She yawned and fell to sleep. The next day she was the only one awake in the nursery and seen a fox cub padding by. She gasped but seen it was injured. She could smell that its mother and litter mates had died. She looked either side of the den and seen everyone was asleep, even the whole clan. She padded out towards the fox kit and saw it had a big gash on its leg. The fox cub was the same age as her but was just a little bit bigger. She gasped as the blood poured over its leg and on the grass and dashed to the medicine den and sneaked some herbs out. She layed them on the Fox cub gently but silenced it as it winced. She gave the fox cub some food and so they became good friends. But suddenly it spoke in her mind. " Thank you.." She jumped and spoke in his mind. " No problem.." They smiled and so she saw that the clan may be waking up soon.

" I have to go back.. Listen, stay out of the camp and make sure you top up on drink and water. Oh, and hide your scent by covering it in something else ok?" She explained the rest and the Fox fully understood how to survive without getting seen and how to hunt. " How about after every two nights I come and meet you on the big flat rock over there. I know it is not far but that I as far as I know to go on my own.. Ok?" The fox cub nodded and raced away she dashed back to the den and gotten warm and fell to sleep ( Fakely) She yawned again and seen the other kits waking up. But she was still unsure about the main kits.

Dreamkit felt nervous as she can see how worried Hollowkit was. " Hollowkit! What's wrong?" And when she said about the fox she said. " There was a fox here but the clan took care of it.. It's gone now.. Nothing to worry about.." She then walked away and sat on her own. The warriors had noticed the scent and she began to feel worried. " What to do! At least the fox was able to run away as fast and far away it can. And that it masked it scent so they can't find it any more.." She thought to herself and she felt awkward as the kits were talking with Hollowkit. " Did you smell that fox?! HA! It smelt like a rotten bird egg!!" Dreamkit growled but remained calm. " I can't.. It will make things worse.." She sighed and went over to the entrance and looked over the curious warriors sniffing the scent.

The warrior came up to her and said. " What happened? Your scent was with the foxes and we want to know everything!" Dreamkit felt afraid as the warrior waited for her to reply. " I.. I.. I" Then a queen growled. " Daggerswift! Leave the poor kit ALONE! She probably will not know.. You know what foxes are like! They will steal any kit when they have gotten the chance!" The warrior grumbled and padded away. The other kits stared at her and the queen said. " You too.." The kits ignored her and played along with Hollowkit. Dreamkit felt anxious about all this. She did not want it to be like this at all. " What to do?!! They will kill me if I tell them! I know what I have to do.." She thought to herself. And she looked towards the camp entrance and stared at it. She sighed and looked away and fiddled with a moss ball as if she was't doing anything. She then had trouble sleeping during the day so she just sat alone in thought.

When it started to become night, she saw everyone fast asleep. She sneaked out of the nursery and had a piece of meat to eat she then raced to where the fox was and it smiled as it saw her arriving.

Dreamkit growled to the patrol and said. "NO! Leave this fox ALONE!" The fox protected her as well and growled. " This fox is MY FRIEND! Leave us ALONE!" But the patrol did not listen and ran to "save" her.

Dreamkit then said. " We need to leave NOW!!" And so the fox ran away with her being held by the scruff. The patrol could not catch up with them and their scents had gone. The tracks were soon washed away and there was no way else to find her.

The next day, the whole clan was in shock. And they sent patrols to look for Dreamkit. A kit in the nursery had told Hollowkit what had happened. " She was FRIENDS with a FOX!! Sounds so silly right?!!" All of the kits gathered as they had seen patrols arrive back with no luck at all..

The clan began to worry as it soon became night. " We will search first thing in the morning." Announced the leader and so everyone rested. When it was day, everyone searched and search with no luck still. The clan gave up and thought that she must of been gone..

OOC: Can I do a fast forward to when their apprentices? cause that might be when Dreamkit returns..

OOC: Oh... really?.. Something might change. Not everything is the same..

Moon passed.. Kits have grown. Now their apprentices. People were still concerned of her disappearance. But that was gone.. She was gone..

The kits before were now apprentices and were in special training. But over the first few days, weird things have occurred.

"FOX!!" Shouted a apprentice frightened as a fox appeared on the hill. But a cat seemed to pad along its side. Dreamkit? Things have changed. She had scars on her eye, ear side and tail. Her eyes were light blue and shone as she appeared. The cats were in shock as the Fox smiled to her and looked back to the amazed cats.

Dreamkit can tell Hollowpaw did not like her.. But how?..

She leaped down in front of him and smirked and said. " I don't care if you do not like me Hollowpaw. Its your own fault you still don't understand! Besides, I am not here to stay with someone like you to hate me.. I am here to give you a warning. A warning of an attack of dogs. Tomorrow night they will attack. Get ready. If you do not believe me then that's fine. But she could see he still hated her. " I am sorry about this ok?! I didn't want to lose you as a friend. But now I have. And that's my fault that i ran away. I'm sorry Hollowpaw.. I will just leave you alone.." She turned silently and told the leader the same thing and said. " I better go. Don't want people hating me any more.. She looked to Hollowpaw and turned and ran up the hill and walked away. The fox looking at Hollowpaw quickly then walking away.

Suddenly thousands of dogs arrived way over a thousand dogs. But how did it get so big?! Blood was spilling everywhere as the clan tried hard to fight.

Dreamkit ran to see and saw Hollowpaw. " HOLLOWPAW! I will get help!!" She ran and ran as far as she could go and in just under a few minutes she came back with all of the other clans. They ran and ran and began to kill the dogs already. Dreamkit killed three dogs and leaped up the tree and met Hollowpaw there. " Hey Hollopaw.. We have to go and help. I know you hate me but this.. Is the only chance I can talk to you even if you do hate me.. We have to go and help. We do not have to be a team, but that is your choice. It was my own fault and I regret losing you.. As a friend.. And a clan mate.." She saw a cat needed help and she said. " I have to go and help.." And she dashed down and helped the fight.
