ic; as they arrived at camp, the male poked his nose into the nursery to see the sleeping forms of the pups. surge smiled and backed out of the den. "looks like they're asleep," he told darksparrow.

Darksparrow growled when she saw Thunder wrapped around her pups. Her fur began to stand on end and she pressed against Surge, her ears flattening.
OOC: No, just step down, and perhaps a severe punishment? I want him open for any people with single fae warriors

Eyes widening in alarm, the male stepped into the Nursery. "Darksparrow! It's okay. I asked him to watch the pups when we were gone!" Surge nearly regretted that decision.

Darksparrow growled at Thunder, "Get. out. And don't you ever touch my pups again." She nearly ignored Surge, darkness swirling deep and thick around her. She extended the tendrils to her pups, covering them and searing Thunders fur.
THunder jumped back and yelped in alarm. He bared his teeth at Darksparrow,but shook it off, shouldering past Surge in a bad temper.

Fellin prances around camp, she was silent even through her clumsy movements. The beautiful fox-like fea smiles, electricity crackled around her legs. She watches the lapping water and send continuous streaks of lightning at it, making the water blow up in fireworks. She yawns, bored, and stands. The miniature wolf limps over to Fang, "Mr. May I organize a patrol, to make certain that Savannah and her... Minions made it out of the territory"?

The grey wolf was shocked at the ferocity of Darksparrow when it came to her pups. Feeling rather bad for Thunder though, Surge made a note that he would go apologize to the brute later. Hoping that the she-wolf had calmed down, he stuck his head in the Nursery. "How are the pups?" he asked tentatively.

Darksparrow smiled at him warmly, as if nothing had even happened. She was curled around the pups now, letting them nurse. The fourth pup that was born still was in the shadows in the very back of the Nursery in a corner a bit of ways away from them, his all black pelt beginning to cover in flies, his tiny limp body. Darksparrow said, "Would you be so kind as to grab me something to eat please?" She asked politely, her ears flat dismissively.
Thunder growled ill-temperedly, "Darksparrow got a bit defensive when she strode in to see me watching her pups." Her turned a bit to reveal his flank, the ends of the hairs singed brown against his black and cream fur.

The brute was genuinely surprised by her behavior. "Well, okay," he barked with a slight wag of his tail. Running to the fresh kill pile, he grabbed a freshly caught rabbit and brought it back to Darksparrow. As he set it in front of her, he noticed the pup in the corner and grimaced. Sure did not want to bring it to the attention of the new mother, but … "Hey, Darksparrow. Enjoy that rabbit."
A slim form entered camp, its big yellow eyes landing on Thunder and Scarlett. It appeared like the brute's side was burned. Too shy to ask what had happened though, Avery slunk into the shadows on the side of the camp clearing.

OOC: Is Avery already in the pack?
IC: Darksparrow nodded her thanks. She saw Surges gaze wonder over to Zeus, the stillborn she had. She was still reluctant to admit he was dead, and was holding on her a thread of ridiculous hope that he was just sleeping. This was the only way she knew how to cope with the loss of his life. She ate the rabbit tenderly, wishing that Surge would stay and talk to her.

IC: The grey wolf was glad he had chosen not to say anything about the pup. Surge did not want to risk Darksparrow having an emotional break down when she had three pups to care for. Deciding to stay in the Nursery with the she-wolf, he settled down beside her and stared at the pups. "They are beautiful," he murmured.

Darksparrow looked down at the pups, the protective darkness tendrils creeping down and nearly fading from veiw. As she gazed down at the pups, she couldn't help but smile. "Yes, they are..." She suddenly felt a sharp pang of sadness as she realized that they looked like Twilight and Ravine when she had taken the two pups in after Sunflower had found them at the border with Surge. She looked away, tears welling up in her eyes, biting her lip to keep from crying.
Fang shook his head. "No, I trust they have left," He said.
