Because I'm trying to save you, was the first thing he was thinking. Derek exhaled a troubled sigh as he looked at the ground before looking back up at Grace, "I... I don't have one." He looked down at the floor but then said, "But I did save your life." And I'm trying to do it again.
You shouldn't be with a guy like me [private for ReedFang]

Grace sighed and put her hands in her pockets. "Fine.... I'll trust you," she mumbled and ran a hand through her hair.
((How are they supposed to fall in love....?))
-
(Derek is trying to save her. It's not only for his own purposes. And I has a plan, be patient my child. Shhhh silence your thoughts)
Relief didn't quite come to him yet, "Keep what you heard to yourself... I promise I'll explain everything after school..." His chocolate brown eyes stared into hers for her to confirm his request.
-
((QKHQJP:AJDLKGAPS:L<JGDNLAJKNHKDGAILSKR:IGKOAISLKR>JKF NOOOOO I can't be patient!!!!))
Grace sighed and nodded slightly before starting to walk to her next class.
-
(Silly it's lunch time)
Derek watched her leave until she was out of the building. He shut his eyes and clenched his fists at his sides before he gave a final sigh. How was he going to get out of this one? He tells her what he really is that will scare her even more into not trusting him. Don't tell her what he is then she'll forver be suspicious unles he could come up with a convincing lie explaining everything. Or he could expose Fang and reveal to her his true plans to make him into an even bigger threat... But that could result in exposing himself. Derek groaned as he walked out of the building, ignoring all the high schoolers that were eating lunch. He sat down at his usual spot on the bench as he closed his eyes and leaned his head back. Well this sucks.
-
((Well I'm an idiot :P ))
Grace sighed slightly and went into the cafeteria. She grabbed her lunch before sitting down, alone. She just sort of picked at her food, not really feeling like eating. She thought about Derek and sighed slightly. I wonder what his explanation will be.... That was a really weird conversation he had with someone else.... And it was really creepy.....
-
Fang was wandering down the cafeteria with his lunch with a difference in his usual expression. It still was smiling but there seemed to be a sign of victory in his eyes and slight tensity.
-
Grace continued to pick at her food and bit her lip slightly. She looked up at Fang as he entered before looking down at her food again. She didn't feel like talking to him right now...
-
Fang looked at her, he inhibited his expression of victory and was about to go talk to her. But he thinks he already done his damage... Right now he had to catch lunch with other ignorant youths. Maybe he'll catch her after school...
-
Grace slowly rose to her feet, picking up her food, and dumping it in the trash. She hadn't eaten anything since she really didn't feel hungry. She picked up her notebook and sat down again. She had a little extra time and she decided to draw. Grace sighed and looked at her notebook, for once she couldn't think of anything to draw.

(Don't worry I'll reply to the others)
Lunch was soon over and the classes went by. It was soon the end of school. Derek made his way outside and stood by the wall at the tree he noticed Grace liked to hang around. He remembered how he was teasing her about being a squirrel. The memory made him smile just slightly. As he leaned on there he waited for Grace to appear.
-
Grace walked out of the school, after gathering all of her things. She decided to go and draw in 'her' tree and wait for Derek. She walked over there and was surprised to see Derek there waiting for her.
-
"You walk home right?" Once she appeared he got up off the wall to meet up to her.
-
Grace nodded slightly, "Yes, why?" she asked curiously.
-
After he looked at the sky first he answered, "Because I'll walk you home." It was still pretty cloudy, nothing that would cause serious damage. "And I don't think you want to wait in case a storm occurs before you get there."
-
Grace nodded slightly and started walking with Derek. "So, your explanation?" she asked and looked at him.
-
It took him a minute before he responded, "Well... I have... Committed some murder before..." That was the best he could do to start the conversation. Derek said it without looking at Grace, unprepaired for her reaction to anything he said or was going to say.
-
Grace's eyes widened slightly, "What do you mean? Why would you do that? When did you?" she asked and started asking a whole bunch of different questions.
-
Derek finally looked at her and gave her a look that said 'calm down'. "I don't have a mental condition; if that answers some of your questions..." He opened his mouth to say something but changed his mind. You need to tell her. If you don't she won't be aware of the danger she is in... You are already in this deep might as well give her the worst of it, and still warn her of Fang. "I... I need... I kind of need to to survive..." Derek looked at the ground when he said this.
-
Grace furrowed her eyebrows in confusion and stopped walking. "Derek.... What do you mean?" she asked. She was really confused by all of this.
