  • Ravennight nodded in full agreement about the rain, "Agreed," he commented, "We shouldn't go too far off in case we get stuck in the The Followers territory when it started to downpour, needless to say he didn't want to repeat that awful memory. A sudden movement in the bush captured Ravennights attention, and he dashed forward instinctively. He felt a small furry animals, a mouse most likely, tail stuck under her paw. He leaned forward before the mouse had a chance to get away, and bit its back of the neck cleanly. It seemed as if all the tom could catch this particular day was mice, but the tom didn't argue, it was better than nothing, that was for sure. Ravennight dropped the mouse to the ground, and started to bury it, and is if sensing Weaselfangs train of thought he spoke his thoughts, "Who do you think the new rulers and vicarious will be?" he asked. He couldn't believe that it had been so long since they were chosen, and it was long due for Amarus to chose the new leaders. It also seemed around time for the new anax to be born in a few moons, that way Amarus would have enough time to train the cat.

  • Weaselfang watch to what her seem like a few seconds for Ravennight to catch a mouse. She nodded with approval seeing that before it was probably hard for all of them to even catch a mouse without it darting away from their paws. She was walking on ahead once Ravennight caught his mouse and twitch her ears picking something from the distance. She remembered she had buried her squirrel back where Beeflight was. She meow calmly “I will be back.” She dash off picking up another mouse. She guessed the bigger prey like a rabbit may have went underground by now in fear of the downpour. She slow down and hide in the dense bushes that were around the area. She went into a hunting crouch walking slowly in the bushes getting closer and closer to the mouse that chewing on some nut or berry. When she was close enough she dash out of the bushes without bothering to make a warning yowl or anything like she used to when she was younger. The only thing that did was make the prey alert ahead of time before you could pounce on it. A startled squeak came from the small creature, but Weaselfang had a feeling the mouse would take ahead start, which is why she allow herself extra power with her leap using her bunch up hind legs. She managed to land a bit roughly on the mouse and bit its small throat before it recovered from its stun. She returned to Ravennight with her catch and once again looked at the sky. However her gaze must have gave something away when he asked her about the future high ranks. She dropped her mouse and meow “I am not really sure. As for the jaegers any of us would be good for we are all dedicated. For the Upholders I noticed that Sealsplash seems active on the job so she might be chosen, but I am not sure. For the Duelists Blazestreak or Mapleeye could make good ones. I just can’t believe it almost time.”

  • Crackinglands came in, tan fur bristling from the heat. He held both a plump mouse and a squirrel. He dropped it on the freshkill pile and took a deep breath, relaxing in exhaustion. He paused a moment, listening over at everyone's conversation. It was mildly interesting, but Crackinglands had more important matters. The hard working Jaeger usually set a goal of work for himself and had yet to meet it that day. He nodded to the other members and turned around, starting out of the camp. Crackinglands started out into the territory, walking alone through the dry land. He took in the world, breathing in. After a while he came to the river that flowed from the waterfall. He leapt to the other side as to not cast his shadow across the water. To quench his thirst, Crackinglands knelt and drank until he was satisfied. Then he waited. Finally, when he saw a fish, he went to flip it from the water. He misjudged the throw, and flapped against the shore. Before he could make the killing blow, the salmon flopped back in and was rushed down stream. "Mouse dung!" cursed the usually calm tom cat.

  • Weaselfang blink her eyes slowly as she returned looking at the sky. She was aware of the wind blowing pass her so she wasn’t really worry about it changing directions anytime soon. However the longer she stare at the clouds the darker they look to her. This is not good. It could rain and I need to get one more piece of prey. I am sure Ravennight was looking forward to a good hunt too without worrying about the rain. She drops her focus about Amarus for now since worrying about the Anax’s decisions wasn’t going to bring a mouse to her preys. She a little farther away from Crackinglands another fellow Jaeger that had the determine spirit of a tiger on his side. She scans the area for anything else, but she had a feeling they might have to travel a bit farther. However the words or at least feelings about wandering away from the camp to run into a downpour from the sky didn’t fancy her and Ravennight had a good point. Still she was determined, but she had to watch her stubborn determination or it might cost her big time, and she would not bring down anyone else with her because of it.

  • Beeflight noticed the careful Weaselfang and he purred. He curved around and leaped forward. He swerved and caught the mouse in the side. He then grabbed it and poked his head up. He wobbled over to Weaslefang. He wasn't normal around she-cats and he had a shy and an akward purr. "Here is my thanks," he purred.

  • Crackinglands tried a couple more times, but he just couldn't seem to catch anything. "Maybe I'll have more luck with something else." The tom closed his eyes and thought through the territory. After a while, he stood and opened his eyes, then calmly walked on a while. He shiver as the wind ruffled his fur. Unusual, as it was mostly hot in the summer. He'd heard mentions of a possible storm in camp and he wanted to make his minimal goal at very least before the storm. Of course, it would be better to get extra in case the storm lasted more than a single day. Crackinglands soon came up to an old lightning tree. He banged his paw against trunk, and soon scared out the mice inside. He caught a few, but let the rest skitter back in. It would be important to let them breed. Crackinglands buried his three mice to go back for later. Meanwhile he continued searching, visiting places like the desert rabbit warrens and popular desert bird nesting grounds.

  • OOC: Okay, thanks. =3 I'll try to do something once I get a idea. (RP block. XD Usually I just go so fast that I barely even look at the keyboard or screen.)

    Iridescence nodded, a small smile upon her lips. She mewed, "Correct, we are out. Do you know where we can find catnip?"

    Pepplepelt smiled shyly back at Amarus, feeling her cheeks warm up quickly when his gaze fell on hers. She took a few steps forward, towards Amarus, then stopped herself, part of her face now hitting the sunlight. She coulnd't tell if his smile was a cue to join him, or just a polite exchange. Her head lowered, unsure.

    Lionheart picked up the rabbit and collected the other prey he had caught. This included three rabbits, a fish and a mouse. He sighed. This was very plentiful; even for Lionheart. Of course, he had been hunting all morning, and had had incredible luck. Many cats thought that he was way too loyal to the clan for his own good, but Lionheart refused to listen. He hunted so much, because it was for his clan. His friends, the ones he cared about. Many cats thought that he took hunting too seriously. Well, what did they expect? Hunting was his life. He wanted to be a duelist, but his mentor had told him no. So he improvised.

  • Sealsplash flicked her tail bye to Amurus. She slipped out the stone place and jumped into a bush. She then bumped into Lionearth. "Sorry!" She mewed quickly. Her wite chest fur spiked but the rest was flat on her back. "Nice catch!" She commented and walked away. It wouldn't hurt to check the grounds again?

  • Weaselfang was waiting for response from Ravennight when she noticed Beeflight paddling up to her with a mouse. She let out a smile at first seeing the wobbling tom was successful with his hunt back there, but what caught her off guard was what he said afterwards. She love being to help out her group members no matter who they were and it always made her feel good when they did things to help her, but she also was aware about how hard it must have been to do with whatever task it was. For Weaselfang when someone helps her out with a gift she likes to return the favor next time and she would act no differently in this situation. She stumble a bit “Th…Thank you Beeflight. I am really happy for this gift. In exchange for letting me have this…” The she-cat suddenly took off. She was going farther ahead to try to search for some prey. Mice can be a pain to get and the fact that Beeflight wanted to give her one she didn’t feel right about taking it and not showing how truly grateful she was back with a simple thanks. After what seems like a few minutes she managed to come back with a three mice. It wasn’t to her liking, but after having couple fail attempts with the mouse she found and then a bird she was lucky to get something. She first gave the two mice to Beeflight and then one to Ravennight. She meow “These are for you two. Honestly you two didn’t have to help me in a group, but I am happy you wanted to come along. There is no need to give me anything back. If you still want to hunt while we still can that is fine.” Weaselfang knew she came here to hunt in a group and she was still going to let these cats have a fair chance at doing so, but she continue looking at the sky. If it got any darker they might be force to go back, and she honestly hated that. There was still much she could do, but at the same time she did not want to hunt too much. Everything needs to be able to refresh itself and there was such a thing as overhunting.

    Radiantsan was somewhat embarrassed to say, but she still had to remember where the herbs were exactly, but she knew that there was a garden grew around the area. She meows “I know we have a garden around here, but I still trying my best to remember it.” She stopped herself from saying that there were a lot of herb places to remember, but she was determined to remember this time for good. Besides no one wants a mender, who doesn’t know what the heck they are doing anyway.

  • Beeflight gobbled down the two mice. "Thanks Weaselfang!" He purred and rubbed a thanks against her cheek. Shocked at what he had done he quickly padded away. His white back foot looking like the moon. He loved hunting. He knew as he smelled darker clouds far away. Why the bad weather? He groomed his black chest fur and looked to the sky. He scented cats. Cats he truly cared for. Like Amurus, Sealsplash, Weaselfang, Ravennight, Flashwind, Lionearth,and the rest. It was hard to hunt but it was worth it. He yawned and sniffed. He would maybe take a nap before he hunted again. His black whiskers titched and his yellow eyes gleamed.

  • Iridescence mewed, "Do you know for sure, or should I help you?"

    Flashwind awoke from her dream and stretched, her fur matted down in places, and sticking up in places from sleeping so long. She sat up and began to groom to make herself look presentable.

    Maplefire finished the first rabbit and moved on to the second, licking her lips t clear them of some of the blood.

    Bramblefire made his way around the borders, alone. From time to time he stopped and marked the territory. He had not wanted to go alone, but he could not find and cat willing to put up with him.

    Lionheart mewed a very polite, "Thank you," Managing to talk around his prey. He reached camp and set his load down on the pile before retreating to his den. He felt his stomach grumble, but tried to ignore it, convincing himself that another cat needed it more. But before he made it to the den, he stopped himself, trotted back over to the pile, selected a newly killed rabbit, and trotted towards the caregivers den.

  • Weaselfang was a bit surprise, but she quickly dismissed as just a friendly gesture as she let out a laugh and meow “Your welcome. It really was sweet of you to do that Beeflight.” It always made her proud to be able to help out anyone so seeing Beeflight happily eat his food was fine by her. She heard her stomach growling realizing that she hadn’t eaten for a while and although her stomach felt like it was trying to eat itself out her stubborn pride made her reject the prey with her.

    Radiantsan nodded and meow “I do need to be shown it one more time. I am sure this is the last time I have to do something. I know there is a garden somewhere.” She wanted her clanmates to feel like they could depend on her and no matter what she would do her best to be a good mender even if it kills her.

  • {Sorry I wasn't on all day, it was my moms birthday, and I went and saw Monsters University <3 May I have a recap of what's been going on please?}

  • {Oh well happy birthday to your mom! Also I am jealous I so badly want to see that movie. Well nothing much really. Just Beeflight give Weaselfang his mouse because she was being careful about not disturbing his hunt earlier and in return Weaselfang caught a three mice, two of which she gave to Beeflight and one to Ravennight to show her thanks. Beeflight ate the two mice and rubbed a thanks along her cheeks, but back off. Weaselfang didn't seem bother by and it took it as a friendly gesture. Iridescene is asking Radiantsan about where the catnip is and Radiantsan is kind of unsure due to trying to remember so many places, but she is sure there is a garden. There is some interact with the other characters}

  • {Awesome, thank you very much :3 We had chocolate german cake xD it was chocolate with chocolate icing, with some coconut bits in it.}

    Ravennight took the mouse Weaselfang caught for him happily. After he said his thanks, and dropped his catches into the fresh kill pile, he walked away into the camp courtyard. The slowly ate the fresh mouse happily. He loved living here, and was thankful to The Others for keeping them safe.

    Ghostsan walked over to Radiantsan and their mentor, and noticed Radiantsans embarrassment "What's she asking?" the neophyte whispered. Maybe she could help, although she doubted it. Radiantsan was very smart, she had to be in order to become a mender neophyte, but from what Ghostsan noticed, tended to forget things when put under pressure. It had to be hard, living with her eye, and with other cats constant pity. Oh well, Ghostsan didn't think she could do much about that, no herb any cat knew could cure blindness., weather it be in one eye, or two.

    {I was also thinking about getting the plot started soon. If you want to help out, go to the plot page, the link should be on the first page. }

  • OOC: No problem! Omg that sounds so good even though I never had that XD. I tasted carrot cake before. Of course I would love to help you with the plot! I shall be there right away.

    Weaselfang smiled and meow “Your welcome.” finding herself back in the camp once more. It was better to get out of whatever was coming up instead of staying outside. She paddled over and dropped her squirrel and two mice, one of which was a gift from Beeflight. She picked out a rabbit and went ahead and sat down to eat it. She really didn’t mind if anyone came by and ate next to her for she was always willing for company. She was just glad she was able to contribute to the group for she love it here and was glad she was able to be a hunter. In all honestly she just wasn’t fighting material. She was a bit of a coward, but she would always be willing to jump in the way to protect someone else. Despite the fact she was a Jaeger, she could be a guardian at heart especially when it came to her family.

    Bramblewarrior wasn’t having much luck finding Palewarrior, but he end up running into the path of Bramblefire. It was kind of funny how the toms had the same name, but it wasn’t confusing due to the suffixes luckily however there were times his sister called him Bram just because she could and he didn’t care if the tom did the same thing. He meow shyly “Hi Bramblefire… d…do you need some help?” He was kind of being useless in his mind all day so even if this was last minute at least he did something to help out.

    Radiantsan perk her ears seeing that Ghostsan had return. The she-cat barely even notices that Ghostsan had trouble with her eye and may be because she was blind in her right eye due to her cataracts. She never really liked it when cats felt sorry for her because she didn’t want to them to feel like that. It made her feel somewhat useless and that why she is determined to be a good mender. She whisper back “She asking me where the catnip is, but I having trouble remembering. I know there is a garden somewhere. We need some more of it because we are empty.”

  • {Awesome, thanks. It was great, but I was already stuffed from when we went out to dinner, and the cake was so rich since it was basically all chocolate. I was only able to eat about half my piece xD. Thanks, I want the plot to include a lot of the characters, but also be realistic as a warrior cat plot. }

    Ravennight noticed Weaselfang start to eat, and walked over to her. Even though they were just talking, and had said goodbye, there was no point in being lonely while eating. "Long time no see," The tom joked playfully, his childish side slowly emerging now that he wasn't technically on duty. While Ravennight loved to joke around, and have fun, he took his job as a jaeger seriously, and wouldn't do anything that would cause him to mess up at all, although that was sometimes unavoidable.

  • OOC: Your welcome. I noticed the quote you had on there so far about the female Anax neophyte and it sounds very interesting. However I understand you want to include everyone so I will continue finding things in the rp as well as outside that will trigger a group event. Also I am quoting these because I forgot to mention some cats were interacting with Amarus.

    Quote

    Pepplepelt smiled shyly back at Amarus, feeling her cheeks warm up quickly when his gaze fell on hers. She took a few steps forward, towards Amarus, then stopped herself, part of her face now hitting the sunlight. She coulnd't tell if his smile was a cue to join him, or just a polite exchange. Her head lowered, unsure.

    IC: Weaselfang let out a laugh and meow “Glad to see you too.” Despite the fact some cats believe Weaselfang was too serious she is more laid-back than she appear. She enjoy being around others, but it was not just Jaegers she felt comfortable with, but everyone else as well. She only work hard for the good of the clan and she wanted to be able to prove herself more than just some random she-cat that hunts a bunch of mice all day. She could easily be playful and have a good sense of humor when she was trying so hard to come up with a funny joke or something. It was only when she was doing her job that she showed her serious side due to the heavy amount of responsibility she carried. She may not fight foxes or other cats on a daily basis, but they were not immortal and they could not go without food or at least get food from the sun like plants could otherwise there would be no need for Jaegers.

  • {Oh, thanks. I would've missed that. Yeah, I was thinking an earthquake or something would signal the start of the prophecy, since the clan receives prophecy though elements. Maybe like 'Though the earths rumbles the {cat name} will escape the fate {Band reference xD} and change the outcome. The femina is born deathly {For the she-cat anax brith}.... and so on. That's all I have so far :P }

    Amarus nodded at Sealsplash in farewell, and noticed Pebblepelt starting to approach him. The tom noticed her pause, and stood up, starting to walk over to her to meet her halfway. He would say a greeting, but from the length they were away it would be slightly awkward. While the Anax was pacing forward, he looked around camp, but then back to Pebblepelt, a soft smile still present on his face.

    "How's the prey running?" Ravennight asked Weaselfang, his whiskers twitching in amusement at the small joke he had made again, to him, that was an inside joke with himself, and some of the other jaegers as they really had to run after the prey, and knew how it was running, and there was no point in explaining that to duelists or upholders. The tom sat down, and took a small bite out of his meal, savoring the flavor of it.
