• Ghostsan followed behind Palewarrior, making sure that they don't accidentally fall behind. The neophyte mender glanced behind her and saw Radiantsan peering at them. The she-cat smiled welcomely at the other neophyte mender. Maybe they could both help in training, even though they weren't allowed to fight.

  • Iridescence turned to Radiantsan. "Radiant, can you check to see if we have enough chamomile?" The mender asked.

  • Weaselfang let her gaze soften hearing the compliment the tom just gave her. She meow “Thank you, but to be honest we have all improve since our neophytes days. I never was an expert hunter to begin with for I must say watching you and your brother has help me be able to improve and add new twists. We should go on a group hunt again when we are not so busy with certain things.” After she caught the light comment about her brother she let out a mrrow of laugher and meow “Bramblewarrior kind of does. He have be chosen to be a Duelist, but a part of me believes he would make a great Jaeger, but he told me he wants cats to look up to him one day.” She smiled at her brother beaming currently at Ravennight and meow “And he will.”

Radiantsan caught Ghostsan’s gaze and let out a warm smile at her. She knew they would be able to help each with their training, but she got distracted when she heard a voice behind her. Iridescence was the one speaking to her, and she meow warmly “Sure!” She look around the shelves and noticed a few pieces of chamomile, but they could see some more. She meow “We have some, but this supply will ran out soon after a few more uses. I would say about six more before it is over.” She was looking at the size to give a guess about how long this would last and although six sounded like a lot for Radiantsan it amazed her how fast it could be especially when the group grows larger and larger by the moon.

  •
Iridescence mewed, "What about catnip?" She purposely knew that the catnip was gone, and the last time she had tested Radiantsan about catnip, she had mixed up the catnip with the marigold. She turned and busied herself with dipping moss in water for the neophytes ti take to the caretakers and ancestors.

  • Weaselfang meow to Bramblewarrior, who was still trying to wriggle closer to her as if he was literally trying to combine himself to his sister “Go and see if you can find Palewarrior or something. I am sure they would love to talk to you Bramblewarrior and you know as a duelist the more practice you get patrolling and such the better you will become. Now shoo.” Bramblewarrior just let out a meow of protest. He wasn’t really saying anything at first, but then he spoke “Can’t I stay and talk with the other jaegers? Besides I probably just slow the group down…” Weaselfang snorted in amusement and meow “Bramblewarrior you won’t slow down anybody. Sometimes I have seen you outrun me without even trying so that excuse about you slowing the group is something you are telling yourself. Cheer up and change your attitude. You will make a great Duelist, but you must train if you ever want to be promoted.” Bramblewarrior flick his ears and meow “Okay. Bye Ravennight! Beeflight!” The dark tabby tom ran off trying to see if he could catch the scent of Palewarrior or any other Duelists nearby. Weaselfang turn her head towards the two jaegers in front of her and meow “After this I will be going back hunting. I want to try to catch two more pieces of prey. If you like we could hunt in a group, but I just want to feel like I caught as much as I could or at least carry.”

Radiantsan look at Iridescence listening quietly of what she had to say and only for a brief second gave a twitch of her tail. She remembered she did mix up the catnip with the marigolds because somehow she mix up the herbs and the scent of the catnip kind of made her head spun as she was trying to focus. She learn to get a little bit better about not letting the catnip get to her, but still sometimes she wish she could roll in it without any consequences. She looked around on the shelves, but her only good eye, which appeared green in color and was her left one did not see any. As for her other eye had a disease called cataracts and appeared silverish-blue for many cats. She could not see in that eye because her condition made her blind in that. She was just grateful that she could see with her good eye. She turned her head towards Iridescence and meow “I do not see any.” As she continue to look around the shelves more to make sure she wasn’t messing or mixing up the herbs again.

  • Sorry I have been inactive :'( )
Sealsplash purred with delight. She then leaned against the anax for comfort. "Are you hungry?" She mewed. She looked over at the fresh-kill. She saw Ravennight but where was is brother, Beeflight?? Shhe sighed and stared at the anax. Her dark brown fur around her face made her look really like a seal.

  • Iridescence mewed softly, "Are you sure? Did you check where they were supposed to be?"

Lionearth stalked his target lithely. His muscles slid under his fur as he crept upon the bushy, white stubby tail sticking out of the small shrub. Suddenly, the wind changed and the rabbit became alert as Lionearths smell met its nose. Lionearth froze, his heart rate picking up. He couldn't lose this prey. It would mean one mouth not fed, and this clan couldn't afford that. Lionearth broke the frozen stance and began to creep forwards again, but made the mistake of stepping on a taunt twig. The snapping sound sounded so loud in the tense silence, that even Lionearth winced. The rabbit bolted, and, snarling, Lionearth pursued. His heart now pounding in his ears, adrenaline rushing through his veins, he knew very well that he only had a few seconds before the rabbit found the safety of its hole. Swerving through trees and roots and stirring up other forest wildlife, Lionearth gained on the lively prey, just inches from its juicy innings. Actually seeing the rabbits hole ahead, he lunged at it, and caught his prize, trapping it with his sharper-than-barbs claws and larger-than-life paws.

  • OOC: It's fine Shadow.

IC: Ravennight nodded at Weaselfang, he hadn't expected that Bramblewarrior was a duelist, even though it was clearly pointed out in his name. "Weaselfang is correct," the jaeger smiled kindly at the neophyte, "And besides, the more you practice, the better you get," he added. The black tom them turned to face Weaselfang, "It makes no difference to me if we hunt in a group or not," he commented, looking around the territory. They would have to travel to a different part of the territory as they probably had scared away all the prey from this area.

Maplefire was lying down outside of the Duelists den, devouring the two biggest rabbits she could find on the fresh-kill pile.

Pebblepelt sat in the depths of the Jaegers den, watching Amarus from the den with her amber eyes. She yearned to go up and strike up a conversation, but knew she would never have the confidence to do even that. With a sad, soft sigh, she eased into a more comfortable position.

  • Beeflight nodded to his brother and ran to get his rabbit. He unscooped the mound of earth. He picked up his rabbit and ran to camp. As he entered he saw is brother. "Hey again Ravennight!" He purred, dropping the rabbit. His bright yellow eyes searched for Flashwind. He soon sighed. He looked odd with his one whit hind leg. He rushed to Ravennight's ide. Ne then bowed his head to Weaslefang and then to Bramblewarrior.

  • Weaselfang nodded Ravennight’s words. In truth it probably didn’t matter, but she knew in the past hunting in the group was faster. Either way she would go back hunting with or without Ravennight and Beeflight. Still as she continued looking between the two jaegers she realized there were only three of them right now. That is until she heard a noise somewhere else and snapped her head around towards the direction. She thought she heard a rabbit and could faintly smell one, but it smell of death now. She realized it must have been Lionearth, but she still wanted to double check to make sure. She turned her head towards the two jaegers “If we are going to hunt in a group we can start now though I got a feeling some of the prey won’t be showing up.” As she commented on this she noticed Ravennight looking around probably silently thinking the same thing. They made a lot of noise as it was to scare the prey in this area for a while and their scent would be stronger here by now.

Radiantsan heard Iridescence’s soft tone asking if she was sure. Feeling a bit warm because she hoped she wasn’t messing this up again. She research again this time double checking every corner and crack she could think of. She sniff the air, she look around the ground to make they didn’t drop, and even leap up at one point to check the high shelves, but there was no sign of catnip anyway. She finally rested herself on the ground and shook her head showing that she still failed at finding any catnip.

  • {Ashfur, I'm confused. In your pictures why do they have the elemental suffix?}

Ravennight nodded in agreement, "Me too," he added to Weaselfang. "We could probably move elsewhere quietly so we have a better opportunity," the jaeger voiced his opinion. "Hello Beeflight," the tom said, watching Beeflight run to catch a rabbit. He wondered if it was rabbit mating season, as there seemed to be plenty around this season.

Amarus sat down in the courtyard. He didn't know what to do, so he watched the cats run around. It was almost time to chose the cats who will become rulers, and vicarious. They had to be loyal, that was a definite. They also had to be reliable, no cat was a good leader if they couldn't handle responsibility. They should probably be organized, although that wasn't one of the most important characteristics. If the cat was to be a ruler, then they should defiantly be good at either hunting, fighting, or defending. They needed to be a role-model for the younger cats, and they couldn't do that if they were bad at their job.

  • OOC: I won't be able to join in right away guys. Were going on vacation on Saturday, so I can't do anything or i'll miss to much. Can I get a recap though?

  • OOC: I understand. At the moment Ghostsan, Palewarrior, and I believe some cats with them went on a patrol. Ghostsan wants to gather herbs. Bramblewarrior was send away from the jaegers {Weaselfang, Ravennight, and Beeflight} to go find them. As for these three jaegers Weaselfang caught a squirrel, Ravennight caught a mouse and Beeflight caught a rabbit. They are talking about working in a group to hunt more prey. Radiantsan is being tested by Iridescence about the herb current supply.

Weaselfang let out a smile, but she look at Beeflight first. He seemed to be looking for someone and she wasn’t going to force him to join if he wished to be somewhere else. Besides the excuse he was lazing about would be dismiss from him because from the rabbit he had around him he clearly done his job. She look around the area with her golden brown eyes figuring their current location and what would be the most likely area that the prey would be. She knew she hunted in the north part of the area since the small hill was a bit steep, but easier than some of the other hills that may be in the area. When she first came out she came from the courtyard, which she remembered was east from here and a few more miles from where Ravennight and Beeflight was she would be home. She suggested “Do you either want to try to go west from here or south from here? I don’t think any of the prey was disturbed much there. I was hunting north when I caught this squirrel and we had a bit of a tug-a-war. I got a feeling that I won’t get my luck again travelling there.”

  • Ooc: so you know whether they are Jaegers or Duelists...should I change it?

Pebblepelt watched Amarus, her eyes alight with his handsomness. She loved how his fur caught the light, how his muscles tightened his fur. She could see that he was thinking, and she loved that look. She smiled despite herself, but knew that she had no chance. No one would want a cat that was part bobcat. She was too...different. Her clanmates back when she was a kitten had made that clear.

"Whats wrong with you?" Raven taunted. Her eyes accusing, her and the rest of her cliche surrounded Pebble. Pebble shrunk back, but bumped into another teen that was closing in on her. Pebble started, and tried to bolt out, but she was abruptly stopped. Pebble whimpered as Raven raised her first paw, claws unsheathed.

Pebble awoke in a garabage heap , multiple claw wounds over her body. She figured that she must have been knocked unconsious. She tried to pull herself to her feet, but her sore uscles screamed in protest, and with a small yelp, collapsed back into the rotting food.

Pebble ducked her head, ashamed of who she was, and let a few tears slip down her cheek.

Flashwind dreamed, asleep in the Caregivers den.

  • Beeflight looked around. He smelled Lionearth a long way away. He then smelled Flashwind. Her growled. Why this! He leaped to his paws and sniffed. Mouse or Rabbit? He then flicked his ear. Mouse. For sure.

  • Weaselfang noticed Beeflight jump up to something and she could smell a mouse somewhere. She stays quiet and in the fear of losing Beeflight’s prey she stood dead still. If she move to go hide in the bushes and the mouse was nearby it might see her and run off so her best choice was not move anything else until Beeflight caught the mouse or something. She kept her muscles even to try to relax them or otherwise she would end up cramping up and naturally want to move to relieve herself from it. For answer now from Ravennight she could accept a very low whisper or quick look to the direction he thought was best, but for now this was Beeflight’s dance and she was going to respect this hunt like a fellow Jaeger should.

  • Ooc: so you know whether they are Jaegers or Duelists...should I change it?

OOC: Oh it's fine, you don't have to change it, I was just confused because the rulers have the elemental suffix. Have fun on your vacation Hapotato!

IC: "I think we should try hunting westward, the wind is blowing in from that direction, so we'll have the advantage" Ravennight observed as a gust of wind blew by. He hoped that wasn't a sign of the wind picking up for a storm, it had been a cloudless day up until this point.

Amarus shifted his position, yawning. With his stomach grumbling he glanced around camp, since Pebblepelt was in the upholder house he only saw her eyes glinting in the darkness. He tiled his head with a welcome smile, not knowing what cat it up, and stood up. The anax started padding towards the fresh kill pile. Maybe he'd grab a mouse for the caregivers too.

  • She nodded seeing the gust of wind pick up then before. She could tell that now it should be safe to move for she wouldn’t be able to disturb Beeflight’s prey from here. She gave Beeflight one last look pointing her tail in the direction she and Ravennight were going out in case he wanted to show up, but for now she didn’t bother calling him with him being as focus as he was. She quickly dash away careful about not disturbing the debris, but also not having a piece of prey spot her. When she was in safe view she stopped along the trail and she first focus her direction on the sky. She wasn’t far westward yet to be really focusing on hunting, but she did notice how cloudy the sky look. She narrow her eyes focusing on how the coloration of the cloud. If they grew darker in color it meant it was going to rain soon. She meowed to Ravennight “Good eye about the wind. My only concern about those clouds is if they grow any darker. If they grow too dark we better head back for it a sign there is a high possibly of rain.” The snow Bengal wasn’t really a huge fan of rain anyway nor did she like getting wet, but she could put up with it for the sake of the group. As she briefly thought about the group she remembered Amarus, their Anax. The tom probably was up helping around the camp, but she also had a strange feeling it was getting closer for him to choose. Whoever it was who would be someone who showed themselves worthy of the rank that was for sure. Snapping her focus away from Amarus and his future decisions her focus was now on the wind. He was right for the wind was blowing behind them as it pass them, which mean any scent the wind picks up from them will be following eastward, but at the same time she could smell prey strongly in that area blowing to them. As long as the wind didn’t change directions they were in good terms for a successful hunt.
