    Madeline entered her home after a nice meal from downtown Montreal. She slipped off her red flats and set down her maple leaf bag on her dining room table. She waited for a few seconds for the familiar welcoming of her pet polar bear, Kumarie. But Madeline didn't feel her cub rub against her leg, or make her cute little roar for attention, or even her forgetful memory for who her owner is. Nothing.

    Mr. Shadow's undefined shape slunk throughout the dungeon, or rather, a dark place to the captives. He quietly snakes his way into Maria's cage and takes her out, covering her mouth.

    Maria stayed silent, too scared to scream or fight the someone that was talking her. She just stared, tears streaming down her cheeks. Miguel screamed as if he was the one being taken, pulling desperately on the chains. "MARIA!!! NO!!! WHERE ARE YOU TAKING HER?!?! BRING HER BACK...bring her back...!" He collapsed on the floor of cage, panting and sobbing, having tired himself out. For all he knew she was being taken to her death, and that was the last time he would ever see her face.

    Feliciano was horrified, "Maria!! No!!" He cried for one of his best friends. His eyes were full of tears, making them drip onto the cage floor. Dammit! Why would someone be so cruel to do something to these innocent people!
