    Padding over to her friends and family seemed to take the calico a million years. Everything seemed to be in slow motion.. Once the medicine cat reached the group consisting of Gingergaze, Marbleleaf, and Shadowpaw, she sat down quietly without saying a word.
    Sitting there, the camp quiet, and oddly the forest too, Petalpool's mind started thinking without permission. It's like the forest is grieving, she thought to herself. Wishing the forest was still sound lively and buzzing with life, she thought it would help bring things back to normal, one baby step at a time.

    Gingerbreeze was too sad to even notice the medicine cat pad over. She just held her eyes squeezed shut, and let Marbleleaf stroke her back, over and over and over.

    (Okay.. Thanks for answering the question. I'm just going to assume Camoepelt and Nativestar left them there, now they're following the scent trail they just left to the camp.. I'll do that all next post due to my laziness not-wanting-to-ness.
