AMAZON CLAN
Story:
Many winters ago, in the alpine forests in the mountains lived a cat and her mate. Her name was Amazon. After having three kits, a day later a mountain lion slaughtered her mate and newborn kits. Filled with anguish and more alone than ever, she realized that she alone couldn't protect those she loved. That she was weak. And so, she trekked for miles, gathering other loners and building a clan of cats. A giant clan, all bent on destroying those who may do them harm. After many generations, habit turned into law. Those who aren't a certain size by the time they're apprentices are killed. Those who cannot physically keep up with the clan are killed. Those without undying loyalty to the clan are killed. You're either with us, or you're against us. You decide...

RANKING:
The supreme, unchallenged authority is the chief. No one speaks out against the chief. The only ones that may advice the chief are the Sarki and the Eze. If you challenge the chief, it is seen as betrayal and may lead to execution. Sarki rank slightly above Jagter's for their intellectual edge and capability to bring down prey.
Shaman's can mate, but are forbidden from having relationships with Sarki.
Jagters can only mate with other Jagter.
A chief can have a mate of any rank or position.
