Hunting ShiMmeRpAw and SumMeRblAzE

    Shimmerpaw sta beside her mentor paticently as she waited for her to instruct her ion some way. She was so excited to be training for the first time, exspicialy becouse Summerblaze was her mothers friend.

    Summerblaze could feel the excited waves coming off of her new apprentice. She smiled to herself. Thius was her first apprentice. She could smell and hear the river before she saw it. "Ok, i guess we'll start with soem hunting."


    She lead her apprentice to the water. Silver fish swam by. "Good, " she comented to herself. "So," she turned to gaze at Shimmerpaw. "what do you know about fish hunting?"

    "ummm, well lets see. I know i have to get my paws wet! and i have to scoop out o fish and kill it. like this."Shimmerpaw said as she padded over to the water and tried to catch a fish and maneedges to fall in. fortunutly there wasn't any fish at that spot to scare away. "Well, you arn't supposed to fall in..." She said a bit embaressed.

    Laughing along with her appretnice, Summerblaze hepled nudge her back onto somewhat dry land. She shook herself. "ok, good try for ur fist time!"


    She leaned slitly over the water. Gazing to see if there was still fish.


    "K," she nodded for her apprentice to come over. "try to sit right at the edge. But dont let your shadow go over the water, the fish will see it!" She laughed. "Put more of your weight onto ur hanches so that you dsont fall this time. You have to be pacient!"
    A fish swam by. Summerblaze struck out with her front paw, claws out. SHe scouped it up onto the land and bite it. "like that" she said happily

    "okay!"Shimmerpaw said determidly. She sat down at the edge of the river. She waited a min. than her paw slipped into the water in a flash. A fish flew through the air and landed on the ground and she jumped onto the fish biting it's neck. "How was that?"she asked.

    Summerblaze purred. "perfect!" SHe loved how quicly the young cat leanred. "Try once more, then we will try to find some land pray!" Sat hunched over the water, her apprentice next to her....

    Shimmerpaw nodded she sat down and consintraited on the water. Suddenly she through a paw into the water, trrough a fish onto the shore pounced and killed it as if she had been doing this for years. "Was that good?"She asked

    OOC: dont make her to perfect kk?



    IC: "Great, lets try some land animals now," she padded over to the reeds.



    OOC: that sucked :( :'(

    OCC: no duh! and she isn't we haven't tried land animals yet. ;)


    IC: Shimmerpaw nodded at her mentor. Water came so naturaly to her but she had tried hunters crouches and it was horrible! Glimmerpaw had giggled so much at her, She hoped her mentor would understand if she totaly fell on her face.

    OOC: i'm soooooo sorry Oceansong that i haven't posted on this in such a long time, i havn't been abole to get on...



    IC; Summerblaze nodded to the apprentice as she weaved threw the reeds. She stoped when she got to a semiflat stop, with some bush cover. "Lets see what you know." she turned to Shimmerpaw. "how would a mouse know that you're comming first?"

    ooc: -lifts eyebrow at dawncrest- really.......


    bic: "Ummm, it would here your, ummmm, I know this, ummmm, paw steps?"Shimmerpaw guessed looking at her mentor hopefuly.
