[size=8]A soft breeze wafted the flowery scent of greenleaf over the Covenant land. Hegemonsoldier sat in the camp, his blue gaze sweeping over the grassy area. Bored, the tom waited around lazily for something to happen, or someone to speak to.

IC~ "Have you heard about the new position?" Fangraven asked, padding over to Hegemonsoldier. He truly hadn't struck up a good conversation in a long while. All the patrols and things had kept him busy. Hopefully this one would be a good one, for he was bored out of his mind.

"Morning you two," called Cobalt, the same smirk never leaving his face as it always did. He'd been sleeping beneath a shady oak, being the happy cat he was before deciding to say to a few fellow cats. The Covenant was tight nit, so it was good to know what was happening around camp.
-
[size=8]Hegemon smiled warmly at the two cats, greeting both of them with, "Morning. How are you both?" before he focused in on Fangraven's question. "Yes, I heard about it. Quite an interesting way to pick new positions, but a good one all the same."
-
[color=white][size=8] Aeronaut walked over to the group of cats, eager to be doing something. The unique pattern of silver stripes and white coloring displayed on her pelt moved along with her. "Good morning boys," The she-cat mewed, knowing the three cats were toms. A faint smile was displayed on her face, and she had no clue what they had been talking about.
-
Masquerade sulked silently behind Aeronaut, trying to find her way around. She stopped abruptly, though, as she saw what was going on. A conversation. The she-cat ruffled her snowy-white pelt, her black eyes scanning the tom's in front of her. "Hello, Fangraven. Cobalt. Aeronaut..." Masquerade greeted the ones she knew with a small dip of her head. They probably don't know me, She thought to herself, But I'll stay.
Masquerade was an oddly small cat, with white fur, but a jet-black, tear-shaped line trailing out of her left eye. Fortunately, at least from her view, not many of the other cat's noticed her. Not that she was ugly- But, Masquerade was a very...queer cat.
-
[size=8]Hegemon smiled warmly to the two cats who had just approached. "Good morning," he greeted, switching his gaze from one to the other.
-
With a faint smile on her face, Masquerade gave a small nod. Wrapping her fuzzy, snow-colored tail around her paws, the she-cat just transferred her gaze from Fangraven to Hegemon, not knowing exactly the chat was about. -
Photoshop trotted up to the group, his tufted ears flicking back and forth. "What's going on?" the dark gray tabby questioned, noting the rather large number of cats.
-
[color=white][size=8] Her blue gaze scanned her clan-mates.Hegemonsoldier...Fangraven...Cobalt...Masquerade...Photoshop... Aeronaut took mental note of who was over by them. The silver tabby's tail swerved gently from side to side in the air.
-
"Hello, Aeronaut." he greeted the femme, curling his black-striped tail over his alabaster paws. "The weather's nice today, isn't it?" he remarked, trying to strike up a conversation.
-
"Quite," Masquerade nodded in agreement. Her black eyes flickered as she turned to face Photoshop, and she partially opened her jaws to yawn. The she-cat knew he was talking to Aeronaut, yet she was desperate for a small conversation to end the awkward silence. -
Photoshop flicked his tufted ears back and forth, searching for words. "Er... want to go hunting?" he inquired, meeting Masquerade's obsidian gaze with his own cerulean one.
-
[color=white][size=8] Aeronaut looked at him. "Hello, Photoshop," She mewed, though her response was a bit late.
-
Photoshop flicked his tail towards Aeronaut. "Hello." he greeted her before returning his gaze to Masquerade.
-
[color=white][size=8] Aeronaut looked at the two with blue eyes, not saying anything else.
-
Photoshop shifted, feeling more than a little uncomfortable as he felt Aeronaut's blue gaze burning into his gray tabby pelt.
-
"Maybe we could all go hunting together?" Masquerade suggested plainly, hating the silence once again. There was obviously something between Photoshop and Aeronaut. Weather it was hate or love, discomfort or hapiness, she'd never know. "Okay?" -
"Ok." agreed Photoshop, rising to his paws. Why was Aeronaut staring at me? he questioned silently. We don't even really know each other.
-
[color=white][size=8] Shifting her gaze to her paws, she listened to the cats' conversation. Self-conscious heat lingered on her pelt. This surely was awkward, probably for all of them. She didn't know.
