  • "No you're not. You're only cubs. If you think you're a monster and you want to be a monster, than so be it, but if you want to be a great, loyal cub, then say you can do it.", she said sternly. She never understood anger, depression, or saddness. She only understood happiness, joy, and fun.

  • Miracle's eyes turned from wonder and joy, to worry as she felt Scourge's almost burning sight resting on her. She knew Alakai was there, but she was busy playing while her heart was getting heavy with a feeling she didn't understand. Her instincts were telling her to back down, but she couldn't move a muscle. The cub, on the other hand, gave her the reason for her tension as he charged his sister, later reffering to himself as 'monster'. Shuddering slightly she listened to Alakai's speech as the stillness of the others engulfed her like poison.

"Apologize! And next time show some self-control." She demanded, standing tall. Of course, she was still shaken, but Alakai was giving her a sense of security that allowed her to feel and act confidently.

  • Alakai stood tall beside Miracle, but rested her tail on the cub's shoulders to calm her. "Settle down, now Miracle. Let's not show our new friends any disrespect.", she said. There was a strong tone in her voice, but she spoke softly, not punishing the cub, but just letting her know that Alakai had this under control.

  • Alakai smiled too and flicked her tail over Miracle's ear. She crouched down low so that she was at Miracle's height and whispered, "Go play.".

  • Miracle's paws prickled as Alakai encouraged her to have fun, but her ears pulled back slowly as the other cubs approached her. Her insecurity lasted only a second and then she bounded towards them, getting between them and stopping right at their back in a playful crouch, her tail slashing the air in what wanted to be a threatening stance. A moment later she charged towards them, laughing as she attempted to pin them down.
