Miracle had gotten behind Alakai instinctively looking for cover. She shivered slightly as the two larger cougars exchanged words and she stood tensed all along given Alakai's threatening stance. The cub got low on the ground, until she was literally flattened against it, her ears pulled back and her breath shallow. She didn't want to get too far from Alakai since she felt that the female cougar was her only cover in case of danger. However, as the conversation went on, Miracle gained some courage and briefly made her way forward going just inches in front of Alakai sniffing the air curiously, her eyes fixed on the stranger.

Fierce turned around and continued to push the buck up the hill," I must leave. I have to take care of some cubs I found"

Alakai eyed the newcomer and then nodded. "Very well. I have some cubs to tend to myself.", she said gently rubbing her massive paw over Miracle's head.

Miracle purred as she pushed her head against Alakai's paw with her eyes closed, but a second later she opened them wide and curious. "What other cubs?!" She asked in sheer excitement, before turning her look at Alakai. "Do you think we could visit them?" She asked almost pleadingly.

Alakai smiled down at Miracle. Such a spunky young cub, just as she had been and how she still is now. Her, what she called, 'Cub Heart', would never go away. She flicked her tail, the excitement of Miracle now rubbing off on her. "If Fierce lets us, we can!", she said, dropping into a play crouch.

" You can come, if you help me with this buck." Fierce said

Alakai nodded and grabbed the buck, flicking her tail at Miracle, telling her to follow beside them.

Fierce pushed it up to a cave were 2 cubs wailed. " Fierce! Fierce" they chanted

Alakai heard the chants and wails, but ignored them. She kept helpng with the buck.

the 2 little cubs ran down to the buck to help. Fierce laughed as she pushed. The cubs were tumbling over their paw and laughed at them selves

Alakai couldn't help but smile. She had such a soft spot for cubs. Maybe it was because she was like one herself? She flicked her tail, anxious to go and play with the cubs.

" Aliki! Scourge!" another cougar called. Fierce let the buck lay by the den. The 2 cubs went to the large male

Alakai watched the cubs and looked at Fierce. "Are they your cubs?", she asked, curiousity filling her eyes.

" No" Fierce said, " My brother, Kazimi here and I saved them." Fierce said.
Kazimi put his paw on Scourge's head, " This is Scourge and that's Aliki"

"Hey Scourge and Aliki!", she said, flicking her tail happily. "Nice to meet you, Kazimi.", she said, looking at Kazimi.

Aliki ran up to the stranger, " HI!!! WHAT'S YOUR NAME?" she asked hyper like. Scourge stood by the larger male, Kizimi. Fierce smiled, " Aliki, Scourge this iis Alikie and...." she didn't know the cubs name

Alakai laughed. "My name's Alakai and this,", she said, flicking her tail to Miracle, "is Miracle. Want to play?", she asked excitedly.

" YEAH!!!" Aliki shrieked excitedly. Scourge looked at Miracle.

Alakai laughed and went into a play crouch. She would let the cub make first move.
