Loners wandering.... {Open!}

I don't remember anybody talking about a kittypet... the loner thought. Caya shook her head, stopping more confusion from arising. Instead of listening to the two sides of the cat argue, she stepped further back into the cave next to the queen and her little kits. "Do you know much about this tom and his counterpart?" she asked her quietly, deciding to pass the time by learning about the possessed cat.

ic: Hoover slunk across the forest floor, his black pelt mixing in with the shadows.

OOC: Welcome Hoover. Just join in whenever you like.

Flameclaw noticed the eerie silence that was left after the heated argument. "Just call for me when you're done with your rambling." he meowed, "We need some sleep. It's night already."

Nyu continued walking next to Mortem. She didn't know where she was going but she didn't care. As long she didn't have to meet those yowling cats. They seemed very angry.

Firepelt laid back down. He didn't want to be disturbed anymore. His chest still throbbed from pain.

ic: Caya looked toward Firepelt, and became slightly concerned; it seemed like he was in pain. Maybe he is just really tired, she thought silently, and shrugged it off. The tabby watched the little kits, and smiled at them kindly.

Mortem brought Nyu to the den he and Leo had found before. He thought he smelled something in the night air. He pointed to the den with his tail, "Go in there, I want to check something," he mewed before going into the darkness. He jumped up a tree, to get a better view of the sopposed cat. He didn't see anything, but he trusted his nose. He hoped his white underbelly wouldn't show in the trees.

Nyu looked inside the dark den. She walked in to look inside. It looked nice to her. She turned and saw that Mortem was gone. "NYU!" she yowled. Nyu was starting to feel frightened. Where did the tom go? She looked around the entrance but went back down into the den. She started to walk around in circles.

Eon glanced over at Dimitri, then looked back at the sky. She let out a howl, it was a low toned, happy, if you'd call it, howl. The wolfdog shook her fur then brought her head down, and sighed. She sat down, her eyes jumping from tree to tree.

IC: Mortem heard Nyu yowl, and hissed to himself. Ugh, this cat needs constant observation does she? he thought as he left his hiding spot and went into the den for Nyu. "Hey," he mewed, trying to keep calm, "is there something wronge?"

Lilah felt tired, yawned, and curled up to her mother and slept.

ic: A bird died and fell as Layleth's mood changed.

Nyu ran toward the tom feeling relieved that he was back. "Nyu!" she meowed. Nyu walked back inside the den and laid down. She stared intently at Mortem wondering what he would next.

Caya got up and shook her fur, stretching to get rid of the stiffness. She fancied a walk in the woods would be nice, and announced, "I'm going for a walk, now." The tabby began walking out of the cave and towards what looked to be a well worn path.

IC: Mortem walked Nyu back to the den, and lay down. He kep his head up alert for anything.

OOC: Oh mai gawd... I must send message.

Nyu kept close to Mortem. "Nyuuu..." she meowed. The only thing she could say. She would ask many questions if only she could remember how to talk. Nyu was starting to feel playful. Nyu stood up at started to run around Mortem. She slapped his tail every time she passed by it.

Mortem broke his concentration when Nyu started running around him and slaping his tail. He waited untill she came around again, then aimed to slap her tail as she came by.

Nyu pulled her tail out of the way. He went around and slapped his tail again and as he passed by his face she stuck her tongue out at him to tease him. "NYU!" she meowed again.

OOC: Lol Nyu's real name is Lucy. I don't think Mortem would want to meet Nyu's Lucy side.

Mortem decided to play with this "kit", as he was begining to learn she was most like. and stuck his tongue out at her, and ran around the den, indecating he wanted her to chase him.

Nyu Stared at Mortem with determination to get his tail again. She ran at him trying to get his tail. "NYU!" she meowed again. Nyu was a lot of fun.

Firepelt decided he need to walk. "I'll be right back." Firepelt stood up and walked out of the cave he looked around not able to find Mortem. "Ugh where did he run off to this time?" he meowed to himself and soon started to follow the scent he left

Mortem started to feel tired from the day, and slowed down to catch his breath. "Let's calm down, huh?" he mewed to Nyu as he swung his tail out of her reach, "Let's get some sleep..." and with that Mortem curled up and went to sleep.

OOC: Got to go, bye!

Nyu was about to catch Mortem's tail until he moved it away and almost fell. Nyu tilted her head as Mortem stopped. Nyu watched as Mortem went to lay down. "Nyu?" she meowed confused. Nyu yawned as she watched Mortem sleep. She walked over to him and laid down to sleep next to him.

Firepelt continued to follow the scent which led to the den. He looked inside to see Mortem and a another black she cat. "Awww... Mortem got a little friend." he mumbled jokingly. He then started to walk back to the cave. It was hard to walk with the pain in his chest.

Cairn padded through the grass, his grey fur swaying in the breeze. He frowned as he smelled other cats.

"That's strange," he muttered to himself, "I dinnae think I've smelled yon cats 'afore."
