  • He shook his head. "It hurt going down, but no, I'm only sore..."

  • Ella stroked some hair from hair, "I'm so sorry.... I shouldn't have left you in the dining hall." She mumbled, tears streaming down her cheeks at the memory. She looked down, wiping her eyes.

  • He felt a sudden pang in his chest. "I'll stay with you if it makes you happy..." He said quietly.

  • "I don't want to see you cry again." He said.

((D'awww! I just made him adorable!))

  • Ella held Shakki's hands, staring up at him now, "You do what you want to, Shakki. I forgot that you aren't used to this life, and you love the woods." She whispered, "If you want to go, you can. I understand if you do and I won't cry."

  • He brought his violet gaze to meet her blue. "I'm not leaving without you."

  • Ella stood on her tippy toes to gently kiss him, "I can't go, Shakki. I need to watch my father, and I need to rule this land." She looked down, "I only wish you could be accepted by the people here."

  • Ella's lips twitched into a faint smile and she took Shakki's hands, "Did... did you want something else to wear? Your pants look worn enough to fall apart." She whispered, looking up at her mate.

  • He looked down at his pants and blinked, then shrugged. "Fine. Just as long as their not fancy."

  • Ella chuckled, "Don't worry, they won't be." She started to lead Shakki down the hall to where the rooms were and snuck into her brother's wardrobe. She returned with a simple pair of pants, a button up shirt and a jacket if he wanted it. She then pulled him into her room.

  • He blinked and looked around her room, fascinated by how fancy it was. He touched the bed and blinked. "Is this where you sleep?" He asked.

  • Ella nodded, "It's not like the rest of the rooms... they're much more modern than what mine is, but it's all I really have to live with." She handed the clothing to Shakki, sitting on the bed, "There's some clothes, you don't have to wear the jacket, though."

  • He crawled onto the bed and under the covers, then stared at the ceiling. "Why is this so comfortable?" He asked.
