"It's probably going to take a while for us to figure out how to change back, anyway, so we might as well get started," Lea shrugged.

He shrugged lightly. "I guess we could start by trying to find that creepy dude from earlier."
-
"Probably," she nodded. Um... Now how do I get down? she thought. The chair seemed a lot bigger now, and she really didn't want to jump.
-
He stood up and walked over to the spot where the guy had been previously. He looked up at the cat. "Are you coming, or what?"
-
"Er, I would, but, uh... I don't think I can get down..." she looked at her black paws.
-
"Just jump. You're a cat, you'll be fine."
-
Lea swallowed hard. "O-okay," she said quietly, almost whispering. She braced herself, then leapt. Fortunately, she landed on her feet.
-
"See?"
-
"Yeah, thanks," she smiled a tiny bit. "Let's see... The guy went this way," she pointed with her paw towards the woods.
-
He nodded and set off in the direction she had pointed.
-
She followed him awkwardly, wishing her legs were longer so she could keep up better.
-
He trotted at a fairly swift pace, quickly making it into the forest.
-
"Hey, wait up!" she called, breaking into a run.
-
David slowed to a stop and turned back, waiting for her to catch up.
-
"Sorry," she panted. "I'm just used to longer legs."
-
"That's fine." He said, turning back toward the trees.
-
She followed, and they went inside the woods. She glanced around nervously, hoping when they found the strange man he wouldn't do anything worse to them.
-
David sniffed the air, catching a faint irregular scent. "This way." He said, following it.
-
"How do you know?" she asked, following him.
-
"I can smell his scent."
