  • HummingClan ~ Lavenderpaw
Lavenderpaw woke up quite early on a beautiful morning in newleaf. She glanced at her mentor, Honeyleaf, who was still asleep. Lavenderpaw checked the herb stock. It was quite empty. There was nothing really to do. She walked outside into the glorious sunlight. The camp was silent, apart from the quick beating of hummingbirds' wings. 'At least I'm not the only one awake,' Lavenderpaw thought happily. She leapt onto a rock and lay down on its warm surface. The hummingbirds entertained her by flying around the beautiful flowers that surrounded the camp. While watching a gorgeous aqua-blue hummingbird fly over to a pink star-shaped flower, Lavenderpaw thought, 'That's borage,' She padded over to the flower and bit off a few leaves. She returned to her den and restored the borage leaves pile. She padded out again, keeping an eye out for herbs. In no time she had spotted and collected more burdock roots, catmint, chervil, cobwebs, coltsfoot, comfrey, dock, feverfew, goldenrod, juniper berries, lavender, marigold, poppy seeds, nettles, tansy, thyme and yarrow.

  • Lightsnow looked at the fresh kill pile. It looked small so she went out to hunt.
