Clan Meeting (Large patrol needed)

    "Oops. My bad," Sorrelsong said,"Hailpaw, could I go with you on the patrol?"

    Blacktwist looked away from Shegora, his eyes still narrowed with thought about the other warrior. But then, he heard Orchidblood and Hailpaw's names called to lead patrols. He remembered his first list of cats- of which included Orchidblood and Hailpaw- not that it was a big deal. So many cats wanted to go, they would probably be able to simply intimidate the kidnappers into handing over the apprentice.


    Looking to one of the leader's of the patrol, the dark gray tabby meowed, "So, where are we headed?"

    Gravelstar closed her eyes. "Rainpaw would surely appreciate the large number of cats willing to rescue him, but we need cats to stay here and guard the camp, which is an equally important role. So no other cats may join any patrols for the time being, everyone else must stay in camp. I'll take Downfall and Willowsight, and Orchidblood and Hailpaw can bring a few cats for themselves. They've told me that the prints end at the stream, so we will head there, and then split off into our patrols. There may have only been two cats who did the catnapping, but we don't know if they are working for a larger group of rogues, so we must be careful.
    Let's go," she meowed, plunging off the Tallrock and stalking purposefully towards the camp exit.

    ooc: Question: are they going to be able to track him down anyway? If so where'd he go?


    ic: "We can take anyone who wants to go with us and that is okay with Gravelstar if you go," said Orchidblood as she continued to follow her niece out towards the stream.


    Hailpaw stopped just past the camp. "There are the tracks! See where the struggle happened? I was fighting them right here."

    Downfall followed obediently after her leader, knowing that she might have to give up her life. She was a bit frightened by this thought, but the thought of protecting Gravelstar was stronger than the fear.


    Mintshade glanced at Blacktwist. She was more than ready to head off.


    ooc; So, Hailpaw and Orchidblood are leading the patrol that Blacktwist was originally going to lead? Or are they leading a completely separate patrol?

    Blacktwist looked over his shoulder to the cats he had chosen and flicked his long striped tail to follow him.

    Shegora sauntered off into the shrubs, giving the deputy tom an unrevealing once over as she left to her own devices.


    Cyanthro watched as everyone moved out, his squared shoulders rolling as he got comfortable. He moved over to Bluebell, looking over his shoulder at the Clanners that would be staying behind.


    "A few of us can go to the northern border to patrol if you'd like, captain," the large norwegian mix stated with jest, grinning roguishly. The ex-loner, unlike his female guardian, was eager to participate in any and all clan activities.

    The apprentice scurried after her male deputy. She couldn't wait!

    Windtalon grumbled something and stalked away with her tail held high thinking to herself all the while.


    Sablepaw nodded a gleam entering her eyes before dashing of.

    Shadekit just looked at everyone and silently went back into his tree to go to sleep.
