Zayne looked around, searching the area with his eyes, his perked ears listening for any sound that may be threatening.
Ave sighed lightly as she walked in the woods, smelling the air ever so often for any scent of food or a herd.

Einherjar wandered through the same woods, his pace remarkably slower than that he used to escape the humans and that, that thing that took his sister's life. He didn't bother to hide his tracks, instead he marched over the dead leaves and twigs.
Zayne sighed as he sat on his haunches, looking around, his ears still perked. He was alert, and ready for anything, or so he thought. Zayne looked around, hearing twigs break. He didn't move, knowing it was a hare.
Ave continued walking in the woods, sniffing the air once more. A deer. She walked in the direction of the scent.
Einherjar kept walking through the woods when he smelled something. He knew that smell, it was obviously another dog. However, this was different than his fellow kennel dogs. He followed it until he saw a German shepard. He had worked with them before, back with his human. They were alright, but not as good at stoping intruders like him. At least, he thought that.
Zayne seen the hare, it was right there in front of him, hopping his way. He lunged, grasping the hare in his jaws. He shook it like a ragdoll, his teeth puncturing it. He dropped it's lifeless body to the ground as he smelled another dog. He turned around, seeing a white dog. "Hello.." He said, watching the dog carefully.
Ave stopped, seeing the deer. She got low to the ground, moving forward. Mistake. She stepped on a twig, it snapping. The deer looked in her direction and seen her, and it hopped away fastly. She growled as she stood, turning around and running back to the territory.
Einherjar looked at the other dog with almost a sense of horror. "Y-y-you just...just killed that rabbit!" He just stared at the limp body of the hare, eyes wide.
"A dog has to eat, doesn't he?" He asked, sitting on his haunches. "May I ask. Are you from the city?" Zayne asked, trying to be as polite as possible but the dog had just witnessed him killing a hare. He perked his ears, looking to the dog. "My name is Zayne, by the way." Zayne said, perking his ears to the other dog.
Ave walked up, seeing the hare. She turned her head to see Zayne talking to another dog. "Who's this?" She asked him. She looked to the dog, blinking. She looked to him. "I'm Ave.." She said, sitting on her haunches a few feet away from Zayne. "And you are?"
Kitsune walked along the banks of the lake in the pine woods. The afternoon light gave her reddish pelt a beautiful gleam. She directed her black tipped ears towards the woods. She didnt hear the herd yet, but she knew they were near. Her long hair made her hot in the humid summer air. Her whie tipped tail wagged, making a white blur. Her white paws were muddy from walking along the shore. She saw a robin, but ignored it. She was never good at catching birds. Even if she did catch it, it wouldnt make a very filling meal. Anyways, she was tracking a herd of deer. She put her pointed snout to the ground. She smelled the mouth watering scent of deer. She continued walking.
"M-my name's Einherjar (ine-harry-are). And yes, I'm from the city." he stated. He looked at Ave though, somewhat captivated by her.
"Nice to meet you, Einherjar." Zayne said. "I'm Zayne.." The German Shepherd said. He looked to Einharjar. "You don't seem like a threat.. Well, at least for now." Zayne said. He stood and walked back to the hare. He layed down and began to chew on the hare, spitting the white fur from his mouth.
Ave nodded her head to Einherjar. "Nice to meet you. You can stay here as long as you want.. Well, if you want to stay." She said, laying down, resting her head on her paws.
Hemi blinked the sleep from his chocolate brown eyes.
Zayne finally cleared the side of the hare he was going to eat of it's fur. He began to chew on the tough skin of the hare, tugging.
Ave sighed as she looked around, head still on paws.
Hemi got up and sighed as he padded around.
Ave stood and looked around. She walked in the woods, looking for a stream to kill her thirst.
Hemi saw Ave and ran up to her.
Zayne finally got a piece of skin loose and ate it, chewing on it slowly.
Ave seen Hemi run up to her. "Hey Hemi." She smiled to the Saint Bernard.
''Hello.'' He said in his gruff voice sitting down.
Ave sat down as well. "How has your day been?" She asked, her ears perked.
''Bad actually . . .'' He sighed.
Zayne continued eating the rabbit.
Ave looked to Hemi. "Why?" She asked him, turning her head to the side in curiosity. "Maybe I can make you feel better." She perked her ears and smiled.
