  • Lilyeye stepped out of the nursery to stretch her legs a bit. It had been two moons since her and her two kits joined the Clan and she was happier than ever to see the sun on the large camp. Her sandy coat was shimmery and she looked more healthy than she had since they were forced away from her kits father's home. She closed her eyes and pushed the memory away. 'It didn't matter anymore' She told herself. A light brown kit dashed out of the nursery and turned, her darker brown tail waving with anticipation. A sandy colored kit came tumbling after, his blue/green eyes watching his sister waiting for a sign of movement. The she-kit took a step forward, her darker brown paws moving ever so nimbly. Lilyeye smiled at her kits before stepping out of the way so they could go at it with more room. "Featherkit, be nice to your brother" She said. The she-kit flicked her ear in a silent message that she had heard her mother. "And Sandkit, don't get any other cat involved with your play fights again" She said. "Ok" He said quietly. After a moment they both dashed at each other and play-fought, practicing some moves they had seen some apprentices do.

  • Danieltail watched the two kits from outside the warriors den. Since they had joined the Clan, he had been told to keep an eye on them. He agreed swiftly, wanting to know the she-cat and the two kits more. He took a bite of his mouse thoughtfully and kept an eye on the newcomers.

  • Featherkit leapt out of the tangle the kits had gotten into and crouched, her darkened tail waving. Her coloring was different than most other cats and she was looked at quite often for it. Her paws tail and ears turned a faded into a darker shade of brown the closer to the end they were, while her brother had a brown spotted pattern on his belly paws ears and tail. Lilyeye watched her kits play off to the side with her tail wrapped around her paws.

  • Featherkit and Sandkit suddenly looked up at their mother and dashed back into the nursery. Lilyeye sighed and padded in after them. After a moment they came back out again, the kits wrestling just like before.

  • Jadetooth, a new queen, had just recently given birth to her two kits, Dustkit and Tornkit. She sleepily blinked open her eyes and looked about the nursury. Noticing Lilyeye, she carefully got up without waking the sleeping brothers and padded lightly to her side. "I see featherkit and Sandkit are both awake. How are you doing Lilyeye?" She asked pleasantly.

  • "I'm doing well, although I worry about them. They get sudden panic attacks and have to dash off to a more secluded place. I wish there was more I could do got them but as long as they have scars on their muzzles they will have those memories. Anyways, how are you doing, Jadetooth?" She asked

  • "I'm good. Tired, but good." She said as she blinked aand yawned. "Sandkit and Featherkit are strong. I think they will learn that the clan is nothing to fear. Maybe they could play with Dustkit and Tornkit once they wake up. Making new friends in the clan could help." She meowed helpfully as she stood and stretched.

  • "Maybe" Lilyeye said hopefully. "Well, it's good to hear you're doing well. Dustkit and Tornkit look healthy and I'm sure they'll all get along great." She said a little more cheerfully.

  • "Me too," She flicked her tail lightly at Lilyeye in an attempt to reasure her. "I've noticed you seem to have an admirer, or maybe he's there on orders." She nodded in Danieltail's direction. "Well I'm going to stretch my legs before the kits wake up, Care to join me?" She padded out of the nursury, which stood surprisingly well after the tornado, and out into the sunshine.

  • "Sure" She said, following her. "I've noticed him there too, I just can't figure out if it's orders or admiration" She added quietly.

  • "Maybe it's both." She grinned and stretched out on the warm ground to sun herself. "Danieltail is a good warrior though, he's very trustworthy." She added seriously.

  • Lilyeye chuckled as she stretched out next to Jadetooth. "Maybe." She said, looking over at him out of the corner of her eye. "And I should hope so. The cats I've met so far seem very trustworthy, and I thank StarClan that we found y'all." She said.

  • "And I'm very glad we let you in!" She chuckled and laid on her side, red tabby fur shining.
Dustkit yawned and stretched next to Tornkit. Dustkit was a light color with redish tan tabby points on his face, feet, and tail. He blinked open his deep blue eyes and shuffled out of the nursury and into the sunlight. Tornkit, a dark brown tabby like his father, followed shortly after. Dustkit noticed Featherkit and Sandkit playing. "Hey can I join?" He called. Tornkit padded back into the nursury, prefering sleep to play.

  • "Sure" They said simutaiously as they paused mid roll. They broke apart and backed up slightly, eyes flickering from eachother to Dustkit. "Ready when you are" They said.

  • Danieltail flicked his ears in acknowledgement towards the two queens. He had the suspicion that they were talking about him. He yawned and arched his back, licking his front paws tenderly before padding over to them. "Nice kits." He comments, flicking his tail towards the tumbling kits.

  • Jadetooth smiled wryly and glance at Lilyeye. "Thanks Danieltail. How are you today?" She asked as she laid her head down on her paws.
Dustkit readied himself. He was already pretty big, even though he was a few days younger than Featherkit and Sandkit. He lunged forward and swiped playfully at Featherkit's tail.

  • "I'm doing quite well actually. I assume you're stationed here then?" She asked casually as her tail whipped at the air.
