Briarpaw watched until Replaypaw disappeared into the elders den. The small light gray slipped quietly across the vacant clearing. A scrape of fur at the gorse tunnel, and Briarpaw was out in the forest. She yearned to stretch her legs, and she did just that. Briarpaw tore along the well worn path, her paws a blur. She threw her head back and let out a yowl of delight.
