[size=11pt].:Ooc:. XD Ok. I also have what I think is a good intro/prologue. I'll show it to you tomorrow, don't have time tonight. I'll also be looking at my characters and getting to know them.

[size=11pt].:Ooc:. So here's what I wrote. (I just made this in the middle of LA class XD but I thought it would be a good introduction. Maybe as part of the first chapter we could add something in about the disease. I'll put that in my excerpt.

Prologue
Dark. All around me, covering me like a blanket. Somewhere, in the back of my mind, I know I'm supposed to be helping somebody. That something bad is going on outside of my peaceful little island. It's the only thing keeping me from leaving this world completely. Moving seems an impossibility, as if my mind has drawn back into my subconcsious in a way of protection. It feels like I'm floating on my back, but I'm not really sure. I can't remember how I got here. I can remember the events over the past months, though. Time passes without me noticing, I can't tell whether it's day or night. I don't feel hungry at all. I keep trying to figure out what's going on, but the recollection of what happened is just out of reach. Maybe if I go over what happened previously I could figure it out. I'll try it, see what happens.

Chapter One
Children in various places hide something. Maybe it's you. Maybe it's your next door neighbor. Maybe it's someone halfway across the world. Laws were enforced to test kids for this unfortunate "disease" as adults call it. It seems to disappear when children become 18. This is not a disease after all. It is an unknown DNA twist. It allows children under 18 years of age to.. transform. Into cats. Kids who exercise this 'power' daily hold it for much longer. But if your older than 18... and they find your DNA is twisted...
You die. So now all these kids, if they didn't find out yet, will find out soon... And then... They will run. They will hide. They will be hunted.
They may die.

So what do you think? We could do a new paragraph and start the story, with some sort of thing in between to show it's something different. Edit and critique all you want, I want it to be perfect.
