Sitting on a brown white bed, was a shape. No human shape. A animal. It was a feline, a male. He was looking out the barred up window, looking down at the fields below. Zeus. The Ruler. Well, one of The Rulers. His brown eyes glinted as he glared at the rising sun. He stood up slowly, stretching out his long, muscular legs. Jumping down from the old bed, he walked out of the room. He walked over to the room beside his, and called silently in.

    "Nyx? Are you awake?"

  • A bright pink tongue the stretched out from a broad muzzle in a yawn. Bright, pale green eyes woke to the rising sun that blared itself into the room. Getting to its feet was a shape, a ca shape to be exact, and it slowly jumped from the bed it was in. The she-cat the shape belonged to sauntered out of her room in order to start her day. To be honest, Felidae was not a morning cat, but everyday she got up with the sun like usual. After exiting her room, she settled back down on her haunches to clean her bed-ruffled fur.

  • Lilac woke and looked over the edge of the bed, trying to land on the cushions she'd put there. She did land on one, but it moved and slid towards an old, three-legged table that had a vase on top. As she hit the table, the vase flew off and shattered on the floor with a loud smashing noise.

  • A frown formed on the males broad face. Nyx wasn't awake yet. He walke down the spiral stairs, spotting Felidae. He smiled at her, his brown eyes gleaming at the femme, "Hello, Felidae. Awake already?" He asked, sitting down and grooming his back.

sorry about the bad post. I had to go.

  • Felidae looked up from her grooming as Zeus came padding toward her. She returned his smile and continued grooming herself, stopping only when her pelt was sleek and smooth. "I always with the rising sun, can't seem to help it. What are you doing up so early, Zeus?" the she-cat questioned. Suddenly she heard a loud crash and hear ears swiveled toward the sound. The she-cat heaved a sigh and glanced toward Lilac's room. "Lilac must be up as well," Felidae then added.

  • Lilac looked at the peices of shattered vase surrounding her, not sure how to get past the shards

  • Zeus opened his mouth to reply, but shut it again when a loud shattering sound echoed through the castle. He turned towards Lilac's room, frowning. Turning back to Felidae he had a worried expression on his broad face. "Nightmares." He mumbled, his tail quivering softly. "Lots of Nightmares."

  • Lilac looked at the door, then back at the sharp fragments of vase on the floor

  • "Nightmares? Zeus, if you need someone to talk to about them, you have me," Felidae responded, concern showing in her pale green eyes. "No cat should lose sleep because of some terrifying dream." Her tail flicked for a moment then settled upon the tomcat's shoulder, the tip of it pointed upward due to never healing right from an injury. "I should go check on Lilac, make sure she didn't injure herself, you can come if you wish." With that said, the assistant she-cat stood to her paws and gracefully padded off to Lilac's room. With her polydactyl paw, Felidae pushed open the young one's door and saw the she-kit stand in the center of a glass filled room. "Lilac, dearest, are you all right? You didn't injure yourself, did you?" the pale gray tabby called out to the kitten, concern in her voice.

  • Zeus nodded, his gaze following her. He jumped to his feet, walking towards the room. Looking in, he spotted the little kit standing in the corner of the room. He frowned jumping over a large chunk, little shatters pricking his pads. There were no gaps, just glass. He jumped over another large pile, soon reaching the kit. He picked her up by the scruff, carrying her back over the other side. Placing her down, he turned around, a blood trail following him. He licked his bleeding paws softly, wincing ever time he pulled out a shard.

  • Felidae glanced over at Zeus when he went by her, making his way to the kit. The she-cat sighed as he returned to her side with the kitten, a trail of blood behind him. "It would've been a lot easier to just sweep a pathway out for Lilac, you know," she spoke out, looking at him licking his bloodied paws. "It's all right, little one, just be careful next time, all right?" Felidae then added as the she-kit spoke up, placing her tail over the kitten's back in a comforting way.

  • Zeus frowned, embarrassed. He gave Felidae a glare, his pelt prickling. He turned back to his paws, only lifting up his head to answer Lilac's question. "Try not to do it again." He said, his voice firm. He stood up, walking down the spiral stairs. It was time for him to hunt.

  • Lilac mewed, and looked at her front paws "i was trying to get down without hurting myself..."

  • "Sometimes I wonder what goes through that tomcat's head," Felidae murmured, watching the ruler leave Lilac's room. Her pale green gaze then drifted over to the kit once more, moving to the shattered glass on the floor afterward. "Lilac, come help me find something to clean this up with. I'll let you help sweep the glass up so long as you're careful," she spoke to the she-kit, padding out of the room, flicking her tail in the process to beckon the young one along.

  • When Zeus reached the last floor, he turned, looking back up. His chest tingled softly. Why was this? It always happened whenever Felidae was around. Did he like her? Not as a friend? But more? Zeus shook his head, sprinting off over the bridge that covered the moat. Running into the forest, he shook his head, confused.

  • Zeus lifted up his head, a scent filling his nose. He scowled. Cat. He followed the scent, heading towards the cat.

sorry just didn't have much to say..

  • Felidae came to a stop before a plant with large leaves on it, studying it for a moment. Carefully, the she-cat jumped onto the ledge of the plant's pot and grabbed one of the large leaves, hooking it between her paws. She gently tore the leaf off then handed it down to Lilac. "Care this for me, but before not to puncture holes in it, we don't want any loose glass to fall out of it," the assistant meowed, hopping off the ledge of the pot and agilely landing on her feet. "Come, now we must find something to sweep the glass up. Do you think maybe some grass tied together would work, Lilac. Or would we need something better?" Felidae glanced down at the she-kit, curiously waiting for the kitten's response. Who was she kidding, though? The kit was probably too young to understand what she was talking about.
