Hi, there! My name is Keenpaw, and I'm an Apprentice of ParadiseClan. Our Clan is a peaceful, quiet, and cheery place. Would you like to join us? Let me take you on a tour!
Territory
Our boundaries lay inbetween several streams, almost like an island. Do recognize those type of trees over there? Yes, they're maple and birch trees! The Clan's territory consists primarily of those two types of trees. It makes our land even more beautiful. What's that? Why's the grass so tall and golden? You're standing in the middle of a meadow, silly! This meadow spans most of our territory, except for the streams. It gets sandier there. Why don't we go visit the camp? Most of our landmarks are on the way there, anyways. Come, it's this way. Look over there, do you see that little clearing? That's where our Warriors train their Apprentices. And that large tree over there, that's where we practice climbing. Oh, look! We're already here! Before we go in, there's one more land mark. It lies on the other side of the territory, next to the stream where we gather our moss. It's called the Tunnels of Song, named after the beautiful whispers that blow through it like a pleasant breeze. In it's heart is a small pool of water with pretty purple crystals in the cave. My sister, the Medicine Cat, go there to talk with StarClan often. We won't visit it today, since only experienced Warriors can go without getting lost. Now, into the camp! Follow me into this patch of roses and briars, but be careful not to get any thorns in your pelt! Pretty large briar tunnel, huh? It took our ancestors several moons to build this! Come, come! It gets a bit steep in the tunnel from here. Our camp lays in a dip, so we'll be going downhill from here. Good thing there are holes in the briar, that way we can see where we're going! Alright, we're at the end of the tunnel. Feel the sand under your paws? You're right; sand usually does stick to water. Look across the clearing. That pool over there is what gives us our water supply. The tall tree in the middle of the pool is where I make my announcements, and it's large roots house my den. It's actually quite dry in there. Next to that, in the crest of that large rock, is where our Elders sleep. There doesn't have to be much room, since we don't have many Elders. A little ways off from there is where the Queens and Kits stay. The stump is fairly hollow, and leads into a small cave under it. Across the clearing are the Warriors and Apprentices' dens. That fallen tree is only half of a tree, and it fits all of our many Warriors. The Apprentices sleep where the tree used to stand. We covered the area with brambles so they're sheltered. Lastly, there's the Medicine den and Fresh-Kill Pile. There's a small underground tunnel right next to the entrance back there. My sister keeps all her patients and herbs in there. On the other side of the entrance is the Fresh-Kill Pile. It's almost always full, even in winter, since ParadiseClan cats will eat anything from birds to fish to mice. Oh, one more thing! ParadiseClan is a very special place. Only cats with powers accepted. What power do you have?
