  • The large silver tabby had just excited the camp, a tear running from her blinking blue eyes. The explosian had caused her to freak out, and she was sick and tired off all this dying. She just needed some time to cool down. Her sister was still in there, looking for some way to help. Oh Lilacpaw, when will you learn... The she-cat thought irratiably as she padded one, her heartrate slowing down a bit as she scented the air shakily. Her black ears flicked a few times as pollen flew down from the tree overhead. She shook her head and followed the scent of mouse she had picked up.

  • [Just jump in!]

The she-cat kept padding towards the scent, her mouth watering, her teeth glistening under the evening sun. The young warrior finally spotted the furry creature and leapt at it, her claws glimmering. She bite down on the mouse's neck as she landed on top of it and killed it easily.

  • [She isn't Lilacpaw, that is her sister!]

Mathequation turned to stare at the tiny kit and glowered. "What do you want, Hawkkit?!" She asked irratiably.

  • The she-cat just turned her head and looked back down at her mouse. "Can you eat mice yet?" She asked softly, turning her head towards the kit, a small smile forced onto her silver tabby face.

  • Her shoulders rose up in a shrug as she looked at her mouse and then back at the kit. "Just wondering if you were hungry. I just caught a mouse." She mewed, scenting the air again for a piece of prey for herself.

  • The she-cat bite her lip, thinking about the consequences of taking a kit out on a hunting expedition. This possibilities rolled through her mind a few times before the large silver tabby looked down at the kit and nodded, a small smile at her lips. She looked around before asking the kit a simple question. "What do you smell?"

  • The grin faded from the she-cat's face as she looked down at the sad little kit. "It's all right, we just gotta move somewhere else." She meowed soothingly before scenting the air herself. A breeze had picked up, so many scents filtered in her nose, but one was individual. It was a mouse. "Try again."

  • She nodded her silver tabby head as she looked around for the orgin of the scent. It was strongest east. "Which way is it coming from?" She asked. This was a hard one.

  • Her smile widened. This kit is good, but can he actually catch the mouse? She turned her head towards east and mewed,"Correct, now follow the scent trail and crouch. Do you know how to crouch and walk properly well stalkin' a mouse?"

  • The mouse felt a large pounding on the ground and scampered into his hole. Mathequation frowned. "Hawkkit, you were too nosy. Here is how you stalk a mouse." She crouched down and swayed her tail. She walked lightly and silently across the ground. "Be light on your feet and silent!" The silver tabby instructed.

  • Her eyes flew to the tiny kit and she ran over to him, licking him rapidly. "Are you OK? Are you hurt? Can you walk?" She meowed soothingly in between licks. She pressed her paws against his legs and checking him for wounds. She did this a bunch when she had to care for her stepbrother and her sister, after her mother died.
