whitestar returned from patrol and as she watched shadekit play she remebered he was 6 moons white star jumped to the top of highrock and called out the familiar words "all cats old enough to catch there own prey gather here beneath high rock for a clan meeting" then catching shadekits eye said "you too shadekit"
shadekit bounded over and sat beneath the highrock guessing what was happening he started to groom his pelt

"shadekit" whitestar said. "you have reached the age of six moons, and it is time for you to be apprenticed." shadekits eyes glowed as whitestar spoke "From this day on, until you receive your warrior name, you will be known as shadepaw.Your mentor will be flameblaze I hope flameblkaze will pass down all she knows on to you" whitestar said
