    it's a science project started up by an unstable genius originally from the exiles by the name of mortimer everett. mortimer sought to create a breed of supersoldier that would bring him fame and his clan glory, but it was more than that. mortimer was hungry for power, he knew he would never run the exiles but reasoned he could rise above even that if his project was successful


    blackwatch started as grimly as it ended. mortimer took in prisoners from other clans and brutally brainwashed and conditioned them. he forced them into monsterous war-machine like bodies with his powers and completely rewired their minds with telepathy and memory manipulation.


    when he was done with them, his Projects knew him as The Director only. he was a god to them, an all powerful creator that had created their life and had the power to end it. he tortured his subjects mercilessly. once they were fully "conditioned" he would send them on kill missions - they were essentially exile supersoldiers with no remorse, no emotion.
