    ooc: I think I'd skip second and third grade if nothing important was supposed to happy during those periods of time. I think first grade and fifth grade should probably the most important grades in elementary school.


    ic: "I like giraffes!" Oistin squeaked, "And I think that Julia is a good person, but you just gots to be friends with her first,"

    "Really??" Oistin asked, "Are you sure? That doesn't make any sense?" He face shifted into a confused glance, shifting from Cole to Kathy.
    ooc: -.- how oblivious...

    "She isn't that scary," Oistin grumbled, defending the girl, "Be nice to her and maybe she'll be nice to you. I do that and she's not being mean.

    "I tried to be nice to her. And all she did was hate on giraffes and try to steal Jaden's cookie." Kathy explained more.

    Jaden skipped across the parking lot after giving her father a hug, then headed through the entrance of school and over to her class room. She walked in and waved at Mrs. Snow then smiled as she saw Kathy and the others. "Hey Kathy!" She said, walking over to her side.


    "Hello Jaden," Oistin greeted, waving happily.


    Mrs. Snow clapped her hands twice and motioned for the class to sit down. She needed to take attendance and pass out the math books. She didn't get the chance to do that yesterday.

    "Hey Oistin." She waved, then took her seat beside him. She rest her head in the palms of her hands as she waited for Mrs. Snow to pass out the math books.


    "Hello, Jaden," Oistin replied with a soft wave. He smiled at her, but turned towards the front of the classroom when the teacher clapped. The teacher grabbed a stack of books: green and thin, but the paper looked like that of a coloring book. These would be their math books which included all their homework in it. Mrs. Snow greeted her class and began passing out the books, telling them to look through them.

    Once Jaden got her book, she flipped through the pages. Ugh, it looks so hard! Jaden thought, trying to make since of the problems in the book.


    Oistin took the book from his teacher and turned the pages softly, narrowing his eyes at the problems. He didn't understand it very well, but when he started back at the beginning to make sense of it, he found that he did understand how to solve some of the addition and subtraction. "I get it!" He cried out.

    Jaden giggled as she heard him, then turned the pages to the very first page. First, she didn't get it, but she studied it closer and started to get it.
