IC:Shantis rider leaned forward as they saw the other horse and rider and whispered, just above the wind "lets show them what you can do!" shanti smiled and her feet turned into a blur as she galloped past them, leaving a breeze.

When the horse zipped past them, Lightning couldn't take it anymore. She wanted to run, and bad. Ignoring her rider's yanks and tugs on the reins, the painted mare leaped into a full-out gallop, trailing after the other mare on the practice track.

IC:Shanti ran with her head stretched far out. She seemed to never tire as she ran across the track. She glanced back to see lightning and smiled as her rider pushed her forward with only a squeeze of her legs.

Lightning tossed her head, her energy flowing out of her through her powerful strides. There was a reason her racing name was Lightning Legs. She snorted and pushed herself faster, coming up beside the other mare.
