Zoey nodded and closed her eyes and allowed herself to be surrounded by his sweet scent.

He was purring loudly, chest rumbling and his eyes closed, feeling her body next to him.

Zoey smiled and let herself drift into a dreamless sleep.

He opened his eyes and looked at her. He sighed and licked her ear gently.

Zoey blinked open and smiled at him.

"No, shhh sleep" he purred and licked her cheek again.

Zoey smiled and closed her eyes and fell asleep purring. The last thing she felt and remembered is pebblefoot sitting next to her.

He smiled and gently moved, letting her rest against the wall whilst he jumped down and got a drink, he was thirsty and water would help him think.

Zoey blinked open her yes, saw him, smiled, and layed down and fell asleep again, thinking of him.

He finished drinking and jumped up to join her. He fell asleep next to her. A two leg came in whilst he was asleep and picked him up and placed him locked, in another room whilst unlocking the cat flap door for Zoey.

Zoey opened her eyes. "what's going on?" she mewed to the twolegplace even though she knew they couldn't understand her.

Pebblefoot woke up, he looked around, worried and scared. He was in an unfamiliar room. He jumped up onto a windowsill and saw the forest far below, he must be upstairs.

Zoey looked around but pebblefoot was no where in sight. Where was he? Is he okay?

He ran to the door and yowl, scratching angrily at him.

She saw the door open and wished pebblefoot was with her. She walked out aand heard voices outside her fence.

He sighed and sat by the door. He turned and jumped back up the window. He saw her in the garden and smiled, at least she was ok.

Zoey jumped on the fence and looked down at three cats talking. They haven't noticed her yet but that didn't mean they wouldn't.

A female cat looked up and noticed her, she nudged the others and gestured to her.
Pebblefoot couldn't see over the fence.

Zoey looked down at them. "a-are you the clan that homes pebblefoot?" she asked, her voice shaking nervously.
