Rakeclaw whipped around at him, snarling. "I didn't even want anybody's kits right now! Not at the moment. Not yours, Bulletstorm's, or those r@pists in the forest."

"If you were responsible, then you would be able to..." She muttered, no longer curling her lips at him and the fur on her shoulders lay flat and sleek once again.

She huffed. "Listen, I hate to break it to you, but I will say these words once." She went a little closer to him. "I'm sorry. You're going to have to accept the fact that I'm in love with Bulletstorm now. There are more she-cats out there." She slightly smiled, staring at him. He licked his cheek. "Goodbye..." She whispered, walking out from the den.

He watched her leave as an image in his head flashed. It was a memory of his father walking away when he was a kit.

"Trust me. Don't be like the other toms. And find out what not being like other toms means yourself." With those words, she disappeared into the forest to take a walk by herself.

Looks: She is a beautiful fluffy black cat with smooth, soft fur and two starry-sky like patches on her pelt which sort of inspire her name. Dawnpetal also has a pair of wise and sweet yellow eyes as well as short and round-ish ears.

Personality: Dawnpetal is known to be a very patient, kind-hearted and generally reserved she-cat. Though in the past as a Warrior, she was daring, tomboyish and outgoing, the many moons of destruction has caused tiredness in her character, and now if anything, she is a bit laid-back and peaceful. She can, however, get very aggressive when need be and is usually uncomfortable with crowds and loud chatter.

History: Dawnpetal was born the runt of her litter in Clawclan, though amazingly was also the only surviving kit of the litter, which caused her mother to believe she was not only a blessing, but also a pure miracle. She named her Dawnkit because during that age, her pelt seemed to fade from brownish orange to black like the dawn fades in nightly colors. Dawnpetal was a very successful she-cat in Apprenticeship, though due to a crooked paw happened to have a lot of trouble along the way, often being more clumsy than anything else and because of her tiny size, she was somewhat underestimated, even by her own Mentor. Eventually, however, she became the Warrior she wanted to be. Sadly, her mother passed away due to illness soon after her Warrior ceremony, shifting the young Warrior into a hard-headed and somewhat goofy, tomboyish young she-cat, trying to hide the pain any way she could, often going on many patrols, which turned into hikes, around the territory to think things over. In time, her heart healed, and she developed into a fine Warrior, aiding the clan for quite a few years. During the edge of those years, battles and accidents led her to becoming close to useless in her rank, so she was soon sent to live among the elders. With a partially blind eye and an intense limp caused from injury, the middle-aged she-cat now lives among the elders, living a more laid-back lifestyle which she rarely complains about.
