redkit woke up blinking sleep from his eyes "umm i was sleeping" he said "why?" he asked not looking at who it was and not quite remebering what had happened

"Oh, I just heard some noises in the nursery, I thought a fox might have came in the camp" he repiled shuffling his paws

redkit shrugged and nudged the kits awake "come on lets go play" he said

"yay" redkit squeeled and raced outside

redkit turned when he got outside "wanna go to the elders den maybe they will tell us a story" he asked excitedly

redkit raced towards the elders den and inside

"hello redkit" dewshine meowed then seeing emberkit snowkit and amberkit she meowed "and emberkit,snowkit and amberkit" she added "what can i help you with young ones" she asked

dewshine thought for a mintute "ok" she mewed "ill tell you the story of 'the battle of sunning rocks'" she mewed

redkit sat by emberkit to listen

dewshine sat down and thought back "ok so along time ago there was a river that flowed making the riverclan and thunderclan border of course its still the same river as there is today but before the river flowed on the other side of sunning rock" she stopped licked her paw and continued "but on day the course of the river changed and it flowed on the other side of sunning rocks and so thunderclan claimed sunningrocks as theres but riverclan didnt agree and lots of battles happened that continue to this day but there was a certain battle......"

"i was a young warrior then and our clan leader reedstar told me to go on the patrol to attack the thunderclan cats on sunning rocks. i went with a patrol of 10 other warriors and we attacked those mangy fle pelted excuses for warriors" she said licking her shoulder and showing them a scar across her side "one of the cats squirelltail i had talked to at a gathering did this but i got him back and blinded him in his left eye" she sighed lost in memories "we sent those dfox hearts back over to their own territory where they belong" she continued

dewshine nodded "i was in riverclan" she said
