  • The cloud kept spitting out raindrops every so often, which fell in a light drizzle on the ShadowClan territory. Inkkit sat just outside the camp and stared up at the gray sky, which looked quite angry at his staring. But he kept staring, and kept his mouth open as wide as he could to catch the raindrops. Some of them splashed on his nose and he sneezed, pawing at his nose to clean it off, and then right back to catching the rain.

Nobody had bothered the young black tom yet, although some had given him amused looks. They were all so boring! Maybe some cat would come along and ask what he was doing, and they could be best friends foreverrr.

  • [align=center][fancypost borderwidth=0px][justify][size=8][font=trebuchet ms]Treadpaw had left camp, tired of seeing most of the cats. They were idiots, the whole lot of them, and they all thought they were the smartest. Gods, she hated her clan sometimes. Especially with one father dead and the other disappeared. Recently, the chimera tabby had taken to sulking around the edge of camp, just outside the entrance to their fabulous clan. Less people looked at this way, whispering about her odd pelt. She knew it was odd, a mixture of mackeral and ticked brown tabby markings. They were all ignorant assholes anyway.

Catching sight of Inkkit, sneezing as raindrops fell on his nose, the femme couldn't help the slight smile. It seemed, that just like her grandfather, she would have a soft spot for kittens over the older dumbasses in their clan. "What exactly are you doing?" she asked, a slight laugh in her voice. It wasn't mocking, just kind and wondering.

  • Treadpaw's voice startled Inkkit and he jumped a little, coughing when a raindrop sucked up his nose. He giggled and bounced up to the cat. "Hi, I was seeing what rain tasted like. Have you tasted rain?" he asked, as if this was a perfectly normal question. "What's your name?" he added eagerly, green eyes bright and happy.
