Double laughed and ran as hard as she could, her long legs pumping forward, beyond Scooter.

Scooter kept running. She tried to get past Double, she eventually did get past her.

"We're almost there!" she called and ran past Scooter.

"yay" said scooter. She ran on top of a rock and stopped.

Double stopped beside her. "Can you see anything?" she asked, breathing hard.

"trees!" she said "that's all."

"WOO-HOO! We've made it!" she called and ran ahead, looking for a nice home.

scooter followed her.

"Do you see any nice bushes or hollow stumps?" she asked, sticking her head in a small bush.

"I will go look!" she said. She looks around through bushes.

Double found a stump, but it wasnt hollow.

Scooter looks through a rose bush. She steps on a thorn. "Ow..." she said

Double walked over to her. "You alright?" she asked.

"I think I stepped on something sharp... it hurts" she said

"Let me see it please." she asked, sitting down with her tail over her paws.

Scooter shows her paw with the thorn in it. "It hurts, can you do anything about it??" she asked

"Yes, I've trained myself with the medicine. Just hold still." Double clenched the thorn in her teeth and asked, "Ready?" Double ripped out the thorn and licked the paw until the blood stopped. "There... Feel better?"

"It hurts still... I guess im ok now." she said

Double smiled. "Good."
