Kisa Perrie lived a normal life, with High school, and a few friends, piano practice on the weekends, track during the school week, and a few other things that normal kids did. She appeared average in looks, with curly brown hair that was normally kept in a ponytail, and a soft featured face. Tall and thin, with a quirked grin and brown eyes, no one would of suspected that she was strange in any way. Her story was that her parents died when she was very young, which was why she was living with her Grandfather, who lived a good distance out of town, at the very end of her bus route. In fact, that was where she was at now, on the bus home, Thursday afternoon. The sun was shining and it was late spring in Southern Oregon, the tree leaves glittering from leftover rain- not that the rain was over, there were ominous clouds in the distance, the kind that spewed thunder and lighting, and large amounts of rain, enough to make the rivers swell.
Kisa was abnormal though, in a few ways. For starters, wings. She had large, golden brown wings, currently folded against her back, and she heard...things. Voices, in her mind, 24/7, several of them actually, always talking over each other, like seven or eight radio stations playing at once. She could never figure out what any of them were saying- except for this one time. She could hear one voice yelling at her, over the others, for the first time, she could tell what they were saying.
Run. Run, they're coming.
She had been seated longways across the seat, eyes closed, back against the window, and earbuds in, listening to music.
But not anymore. Kisa snapped her eyes open and stood up.
"Bye Kip. It's been fun." She told her friend curtly, who had been letting her sleep today, rather than speaking with her. Then, in one fluid movement, she was up on the back of the seats, standing, and popping open the emergency exit on the roof of the moving bus. Before the busdriver could even notice what she was doing, she was out the door. With her wings spread, it was only seconds before the wind caught them and she was tossed into the sky with a laugh- this was the first time she'd ever flown.
She flew clumsily after the initial lift, and then got the hang of it, flying for quite some time.
Then the storm had hit, and it hit hard. The wind, that had gratefully carried her before, threw her into the tree cover as it came on suddenly, rain pelting and the sky sounding like it was crashing to the earth with the thunder.
"...Ow." she muttered, face down on the ground, one wing folded awkwardly against her back, the other flat out beside her, and then she was lost to the world, blacked out in a forest in the middle of a storm.
[Hello, and welcome to my RP! It's a pleasure to see you here, and if you happen to find my post above slightly daunting in size, don't worry, my posts wont all be like that, and I do not expect yours to be like that either. All I ask for is a good few character developing sentences, proper grammar, and-ah...you get the idea I'm sure. Just hop in, no form required, thanks!]
