    [font=arial][size=2]

    Among the wild plains of Oklahoma are 500 acres of land secured from the pressing charges of the modern world. Humans have striven to keep this rich land separate of construction workers and greedy men. So far, their hard work has paid off. For the past 100 years, a strong herd has survived on these 500 acres - their ancestors having come from the finest Mustang stock on the market.

    For the moment, their lives are peaceful under the shadows of the looming mountains. But threats are soon to come, both natural and unnatural. All these horses have ever known is their wild instincts and the lands that were protected and given to them by their unknown humans. So, with this turn of events soon to come, what will the herd do?

  • no offense, but bays are brown with black manes and tails. I think It doesn't matter. Brown is actually a dark brpwn. Isn't that funny?

  • [color=white]Hey, sis.

  • [font=arial][size=2][color=black]@MoonWhisper - A chestnut is not brown. A bay, however, is brown. While you are correct in a bay having black points and black mane/tail, they are, in fact, considered the "brown" color of the horses. Some might consider a chestnut horse as a brown horse, but without DNA testings, a bay horse is considered "brown." Either way, your horses are accepted. However, the horse you wish to be lead mare will have to remain as a herd mare until I decide who the lead mare will be. Thank you!

    @acinonyx - Your horses are accepted! However, the horse you wish to be lead mare will have to remain as a herd mare until I decide who the lead mare will be. Thanks! (:

    @ShockTherapy - Your horses are accepted! Thanks, sister!

    [font=arial][size=2][color=black]Name:: Cree
    Gender:: Mare
    Breed:: Mustang
    Age:: 5
    Color:: Cree is a jet black, retaining her onyx color, even at her points, year round.
    Markings:: She sports no white markings.
    Personality:: Cree is a quite mare at first for her age. She prefers to watch and listen than jump right into things. She has a strong sense of self preservation. She's very intelligent and inquisitive, making well thought out and strong decisions. She's curious, but doesn't 'spook' easy. She's a mare to hold her ground like a stallion if trouble comes her way, not backing out of a fight unless she must. She's generally not the violent sort, but her long legs and strong hocks give her the potential for it. She's gentle and loving, but can easily switch to a nasty tone and snap at you if you offend her or someone she's close with. She's loyal, smart, and daring, making her the kind of mare no stallion would want to lose from their herd.
    Mate/Children?:: None/None.
    Rank:: Herd mare.
    Password:: Seal, Liver chestnut, but you are probably looking for a bay.

  • .:name:. Revain
    .:gender:. femme
    .:breed:. wild horses generally have no breed considering they are a mish mash of a large variety of breeds.
    .:age:. 8 years
    .:color:. black and white
    .:markings:. pinto
    .:personality:. Revain has always been more of the conservative type. Never liking big crowds or lots of attention, she prefers to be alone with her thoughts and what are left of her memories. At first encounter with new comers she is weary, as all horses should be, but never shows it so then not to make herself look weak. Never giving away much, for that matter, not even talking much for fear of giving away to much information. Revain can be described as mysterious, secretive and quiet. But through and through she is dominant and independent, mainly due to the fact that she doesn't want to be thought of as weak or easily controllable. There's nothing special about Revain, she can't bring you to tears with a speech or amaze you with some type of talent. But she is an extremely modest and kind-hearted horse, that will never fail your trust and honor the friendship she shares with any horse. When in a situation of another's life on the line, she keeps a level head and a clear mind. Although being young for a horse, she carries a wisdom some equine never earn in life. Not only wisdom but she has an aura of calm. But where ever Revain goes all she creates in one's mind is questions, questions, questions.
    .:history:. Once Revain was happy, her heart content. She lived in the company of her beloved her kin and found peace within her home the Spirit Herd. But the wrath of an angry heart brought Revain's life crumbling down around her. Her herd was gone in one night... The screams of her kin still ring in her ears... Revain and her brother fled and found the Rushing River herd. Which Revain now calls home and finds solace from her nightmares. She and her brother are the last of the Spirit herd...
    .:mate/children?:. n/a
    .:rank:. herd mare but hope to get her to lead mare...
    .:password:. 'Bay'. But there was a person whom said chestnut and yes that is indeed a brown horse and so is sorrel. Chestnut and sorrel just means a brown horse without black markings. There is also a wild bay which is a bay horse but without black socks.

    .:name:. Tariq - translated to english it means 'dark one'.
    .:gender:. male
    .:breed:. wild horses generally have no breed considering they are a mish mash of a large variety of breeds.
    .:age:. 9 years
    .:color:. dun
    .:markings:. scattered with scars
    .:personality:. Tariq is a loner stallion, therefor no one truly knows him but his sister. It would not be appropriate to speak of personality of a stallion which the herd would never need to know of till he threatens the lead stallions rank in the herd. He is a ghost of a memory and that is how he wishes it to be...
    .:mate/children?:. n/a
    .:rank:. loner stallion
    .:password:. 'Bay'... I was also hoping FINITY.would agree to Tariq and Cree having a secret/forbidden love...
