So, The way/how he did die; "Despite Sandstorm's protests, Firestar insists on fighting in the final battle. He lines up with several other ThunderClan warriors, then scares away a couple of Dark Forest cats, and later guards the nursery. He then appears again at the end of the battle, fighting Tigerstar and successfully winning the fight. Although Firestar kills him, lightning strikes a tree and it catches fire, and smoke billows over him and he dies from all of the wounds he received during the battle. His spirit then leaves with Bluestar when she introduces the Three to the cats that gave Firestar his nine lives, sweeping his gaze over the Clan for the last time. It's the way Erin Hunter makes it. In case you didn't know, they usually powerful/important cats the main concept/subject of the story. To shorten: Firestar is special and important so it's all about him.(in the first series, at least.) -
