    StoneHeart was confused but understood. He padded into the nursery and gave a short smile at the queen. "Hello." he meowed.

    She shrugged. "Or another reason is that her siblings can't get used to the fact that she isn't as agile as them."

    Cloudfeather had been about to express her concerns for her daughter, but, remembering her sons were still within earshot and the medicine cat was already gone, she shut her maw. With a sigh, she laid down and continued to watch her kits carefully.


    Spiderkit hissed at Ashkit as he pounced on his brother. "Gotcha, Ashstar! Now you'll never get away!" He joked, pretending his brother was and enemy leader.


    "Not for long!" Ashkit protested then shoved the dark red kit off him before running away Spiderkit on his heels. He glanced back to see that the other tom was keeping up.


    Frostkit whined as she lost both her brother's scents. "Guys! Wait up!" She sniffed the air then, just as she caught the scent, she felt Spiderkit run right past her. "Ah!" She squeaked and jumped back.


    "Spiderkit, watch where you're running!" Cloudfeather hissed at him. "You almost ran into Frostkit!"

    IC: I smiled. "Well...she is faster, but the downside is she is blind. She can't be a Warrior...she could be a medicine cat, but...she'd have to learn the smells of each remedy."

    I walked towards camp when Israphelkit ran into me. I remembered that Israphelkit was deaf, and patted him on the back with my tail.

    I bumped my head on something. I looked up, sniffed, and detected Reedfeather. He patted his tail on my back. I smiled, then ran back to where I was.

    Cloudfeather looked over at the kit and smiled then looked at her own. Then she noticed that Frostkit was missing. Looking around, she motioned for Ashkit and Spiderkit to stay put as she went over to Reedfeather. "Have you seen Frostkit?" She asked, curious.

    I felt and detected Frostkit. "Hello, Frostkit. Isn't it a nice day?" I said, looking around. Sure, I couldn't see colors, but I liked black and white. So...peaceful.

    Frostkit stopped on her way to the medicine cat den to, yet again, explore it as she turned her attention to Israphelkit. Needing the ground nervously, she nodded in agreement to the deaf kit, remembering he can't hear her just as she can't see him.


    Cloudfeather looked over to see the two kits communicating. A flash of sadness glazed her eyes. The poor things, she thought.

    Frostkit smiled then nodded with enthusiasm. She did like Israphelkit a lot. They were alike after all, both disabled with their futures as warriors threatened.
