He looked back at her.

She looked into his eyes.

"Are you sure you're ok?"

She blinked and nodded. "Yeah, I'm sure.."

He looked at her.

She padded past him.

He followed.

She sighed, not sure where she was going. She had wandered all around ever since she was just a little pup. Now that she was pregnant, she had to settle down. She didn't want her pup to be like her.

"Do you really want to leave?"

She looked at the leafy ground. "No.. you've taken such good care of me.."

"Well....... You can come live with me."

She turned and looked at him. "Are you sure? I'll be a mother in less than two months.. it'll be a big change." She woofed.

"It's fine, I've been quite lonely."

She came up to him and licked his cheek. "Thank you."

"You're welcome."

She sat in a patch of sunlight, her snowy fur lighting up the area.

"You have beautiful fur."

She smiled. "Thanks, I like yours too."

He smiled, his tail wagging.
