  • Really Hectic Lives

    Plot

Our two characters were originally victims of mad scientists who had gotten their hands on two shifters. The genes in their systems got tampered with and now they physical appearances have been altered. Their animal counterpart ears and tail appear on their human form. And they are faster, stronger, and physically superior than your average shifter. They can still shift into their animal forms. And they've both been tattooed by the scientists

The two luckily escaped from the clutches of the scientists and have tried to blend into normal day life. But that's kind hard when you have animal ears and a tail. The scientists are trying to get the two back into their hands. Basically the two are on the run for their lives while at the same time, trying to get jobs and live a regular life. plus all the action and drama and don't forget romance. :D

Will the two be able to defeat the scientists and get back to semi regular lives? Or will they fall into the hands of the mad humans again and become their lab rats? Only time (and this RP) will tell. :D

    Current

The two are sharing an apartment and usually are everywhere together. They wear clothing to hide their ears and tails. The two have changed their identies, getting new names and getting new birth certificates, social security, passports, everything. Too bad they couldn't change their appearance too. The two of them have between then a motorcyle (http://www.desktoprating.com/w…-motorcycle-wallpaper.jpg) and a car (http://blogs.cars.com/.a/6a00d…9e20120a94239a5970b-800wi) and both work to make ends meet. Under the government they pose as siblings, but in reality they're not related at all. They try to keep a low profile and not attract any attention.

    My character:
    Former Name: Aristotle Legrand Warren
New Name: Alan Nikolus Magnus (they'll both have the new name ending with Magnus)
    Age: 22 years old
    Shifter type: Cougar shifter
    Occupation: Chef at a restaurant
Appearance: (picture would do nicely) Standing at 6ft tall with brown, golden, blonde hair. He's got a one jade green eye and a crimson red eye that he usually wears a green colored contact over or sometimes a eye-patch.
    http://i189.photobucket.com/al…/Random/normal_sexy_3.jpg

Personality: Stoic and very reserved. Alan is an aloof individual who doesn't really show his true self unless he's with his "sister". Somewhat condescending but he has his reasons. Alan appears really cold and unfriendly but that's just his barrier to make sure his cover isn't blown. If taken the time, he's not really a bad guy, he's just been wronged and he's bottling it all up. He hates lies and can smell a lie a mile away, easily recognizing them. Intelligent and quick minded, he can think up a plan easily and is a mastermind at strategy. He's very loyal to his "sister" and would never betray her. Very protective of her and gets very angry when anyone insults her or patronizes her. Might even love her a bit.

    History:
His parents were both cougar shifters but they were killed when the scientists kidnapped Aristotle. Aristotle only found out of their death when he overheard the scientists talking about it. An orphan at the age of 8, he's been held captive in the lab until the age of 19 when he escaped. Now he's 22 and striving to make a life for himself and his "sister".

  • Former Name: Gabrielle Iris Irlyeu.
    New Name: Sarah Lily Magnus.
    Age: 20.
    Shifter type: Light brown wolf.
    Occupation: Animal Shelter. { Full-time employee. }
Appearance: (picture would do nicely) http://media.photobucket.com/i…i_flower14/cuter.jpg?o=35
Personality: Sarah loves any animal. From a large bear, to a tiny, helpless kitten. She's a very loving person. The only people she doesn't trust, is, well, scientists. Sees someone with a lab coat, and it's disappearing act! Or, in other words, hiding away from them, until they leave wherever she is at. She trusts her 'big brother' the most.
History: Sarah, like her 'brother', were taken away by scientists for lab tests when she was only 6. Ever since then, she's been their 'lab rat'. Her parents died of grief. They messed up their gens, so now she's got large light brown ears, and a short, fluffy tail, which she tries her best to hide, by alwayd wearing a hat, and tucking her tail between her legs, although it's very uncomfortable. She just wishes to live a normal life, and not constantly be on the run, making a new life wherever they are.

  • (let's start :D )

Hands reach out and try to grab him, try to shove him into a small cage. He wouldn't go. He struggled. He wouldn't be a caged animal again. Out he burst from the cage and he shifted forms and ran from the mean people. Running his mind kept telling him to run away run away. But he felt like he was missing something. Gabrielle! He looked around in cougar form looking for his friend. Where was she?

Suddenly hands grabbed him, pinning him to the floor. He yowled in resistance and kicked and slashed---

Aristotle Legrand Warren, or now known as Alan Nikolus Magnus, shot up in bed, panting and sweating. Wiping his brow, Alan looked over at his alarm clock and saw that it was only 5 in the morning. He groaned and flopped back onto the mattress. Darn those dreams, they never went away. With a groan of frustration he elbowed his pillow and felt like screaming but remembered Sarah in the room next door so he didn't.

What a life they live now. Now he and Sarah, formerly Gabrielle, were living as siblings under a nice two room apartment. But that didn't stop the scientists from coming after them. They already had to move their living place 5 times, this time was the 6th. And this apartment was pretty nice. The rent was moderate, split between the two of them, and it was pretty spacious. Two rooms, bathroom in each, a nice kitchen, family room, laundry, and even garage. And the doors were locked with the latest technology, finger print and eye scans.

Alan heaved himself out of bed and found his entire body sleek with sweat from his nightmare. He grumbled and walked into the bathroom in his room. He stripped off his wet clothes, tossing them into the basket. He stepped into the shower and turned on the cold water. Immediately he tensed up as the freezing cold droplets pelted his flesh. His cougar ears flicked the water off and his tail weaved back and forth. The result of the experiments. They retained their animal ears and tail in their human forms, which was terrible if they were trying to blend in.

Anyways, he took a cold shower to clear his head and got out, changed into some clean clothes, black jeans and a red sleeveless, and grabbed his dark blue jacket. Putting on socks he went into the family room and looked towards Sarah's room to see if she was up yet, though he wasn't sure if she woke up because of the shower noise.

  • Gabrielle was running, struggling, against a man in a pure white labcoat. Her eyes seered with pain, and extreme anger. Before she knew it, she had shifted into her light brown wolf form, and running away. Something jabbed her in the side, and she began to slow down, everything blacking out around her...

Sarah sat up, panting loudly. Her ears were folded at the back of her head, a sign of pain. Her tail had tucked itself between her legs. She sighed, feeling her body completely covered in sticky, hot sweat. The blanket had fallen from all her thrashing, and was lying on the ground, like a pile of innocent snow. Right. She slowly rose to her feet, and waddled towards the bathroom.

Sarah turned on the water inside the shower in her personal bathroom, and stepped inside. She still her her PJ's on, but she didn't care. She let the cold water enclose her, before she stepped out, throwing off her Pj's, and slipped on jeans, a plain t-shirt, and a cap, folding her ears behind her head, putting the cap on. She slipped out of the room, only to see Alan looking back at her. She smiled sweetly, and giggled. Her true personality was shining right in front of him. "Hey."

  • Alan's ears flicked as he heard running water from Sarah's room. They had both been plagued by the same nightmare since they had gotten away from the lab. But until the scientists left them alone, the two of them would continue to have the dream. Sucks didn't it.

He felt the urge to twitch his tail but remembered his long tail was stuck inside his pants and was bothering him. He would have to remember to grab his hat before he left the house.

Hearing the door open he lifted his head to see Gabrielle standing there, a sudden smile coming upon her face at the sight of him. With a chuckle, Alan walked towards her and grabbed her into a gentle hug. "Hey yourself. Did you sleep well? Wait, let me guess, it's the same right? The nightmare?", he asked her as he rubbed her back affectionately.

Alan stood at 6ft tall and Sarah was 5'8ft tall. Which was nice since he didn't have to bend down to hug her. He pulled back to look at her face. "You have bags under your eyes. God we really have hectic lives don't we?", he asked her with a small smile, reserved only for her.

  • "Hey yourself. Did you sleep well? Wait, let me guess, it's the same right? The nightmare?"

"Yeah...." Sarah answered quietly, pain shuddering through her for a moment. The nightmare was going to haunt both of them, for as long as they lived. Or, at least until the scientists were completely off their tails, literally, which would probably never happen. At least for a while. Why couldn't they just leave them alone?

"You have bags under your eyes. God we really have hectic lives don't we?"

Sarah giggled, nodding slowly. She gently used her finger to trace the light bags under her eyes. It was true, their lives were completely hectic. The only good things about her life, was Alan and working full-time at the local animal shelter. That's what always brightened up her day. Being able to help, even though she needed help herself.

  • "Yeah...."

Alan ruffled her light brown hair gently and rubbed her ears. Chuckling he indicated the clock on their wall. "It's early. Is there something you wanna do before we both head off for work?", he asked her with a shrug of his shoulders.

Their apartment was sparsely decorated as they never knew when they would be on the run again. Actually, Alan already had a back up plan in case that ever happened to them. It would suck to leave behind another home, but it was for the best.

He walked over to the kitchen and poured them both some hot latte and using his chef skills, used the milk and cream to paint a picture in the latte. He smiled at his work and walked over to Sarah, handing her a cup of latte with a picture of a cartoon wolf's face on top in cream. His was a kitty. Alan smiled as he took a sip of his hot drink.

The weather outside was late November and already it was beginning to get cold. It might even snow soon.

(btw I have a awesome plot, I'll PM you)

  • "It's early. Is there something you wanna do before we both head off for work?"

"It's a wolf! My favorite!" Sarah giggled, taking a light sip from the latte. Some of the foam stuck on her upper lip, and she gently licked it, closing her eyes in delight at the taste. "Hm... We could just hang. I have to be at work by 8, so it's all good." She couldn't wait to get to work. There was a rumor going around at her work place, that there was this cute new guy coming in today. It may or may not be true. She would find out soon enough.

  • "It's a wolf! My favorite!"

Alan chuckled and licked the cream off his lips too. "Of course it is. I would know.", he smiled at her.

"Hm... We could just hang. I have to be at work by 8, so it's all good."

He smacked his lips and looked at her. "Hang? And do what? I'm all ears for suggestions.", he told her wondering what could there be to do at 5 in the morning. Alan looked closely at Sarah and saw her smiling like a giggly idiot to herself.

Reaching out he pinched her cheek lightly. "Hey, what's with that silly smile on your face. Something good happen at work? Rescue a wolf or something?", he asked her, tugging on her right cheek gently but still jokingly.

  • "Of course it is. I would know."

"I know, it's not that hard." Sarah giggled again. She slightly angled her hat off to once side, to show one of her big ears, which she flicked back and forth, giggling again.

"Hang? And do what? I'm all ears for suggestions."

'Well, there must be something to do! Like..... oh, I dunno! I wish there was something to do." Sarah huffed loudly. She wished there was something to do. Work is something that kept her busy all day, after all. And talking with Alan, which is also very enjoyable.

"Hey, what's with that silly smile on your face. Something good happen at work? Rescue a wolf or something?"

"Hey!" Sarah giggled, gently nipping on his finger. There was a still a little bit of her puppy personality left. Puppy's like to nip and chew stuff, so that's what she was doing. Plus, it was an easy way for him to let go of her cheek. "I wish I had rescued a wolf. No, actually, there is this new guy coming in today."

  • "I know, it's not that hard."

Alan chuckled and took a sip of his drink. He then poked her forehead. "How many years have we been living together? I think I would know almost everything about you.", he told her.

'Well, there must be something to do! Like..... oh, I dunno! I wish there was something to do."

Alan also thought for something to kill 3 hours. "We can go drive to the forest and run around. How's that?", he asked her.

"Hey!" "I wish I had rescued a wolf. No, actually, there is this new guy coming in today."

At this Alan frowned a bit, feeling a bit jealous that Sarah was so excited for work because of a guy. His right red eye, which he didn't with a contact lens yet, and his left green eye stared at Sarah. "A guy? Hopefully he isn't like the last guy who chased after you.", he told her, remembering the last guy that wanted to date Sarah. He turned out to be this spineless coward who just wanted a hot chick. Alan remembered beating the guy up and threating to kill him if he ever came near Sarah again. Though of course, Sarah didn't know Alan beat him up. It was a secret.

  • "How many years have we been living together? I think I would know almost everything about you."
"That's true." Sarah answered with a shy grin. They had been living together for a long time. They knew basically everything there is to know about someone.

"We can go drive to the forest and run around. How's that?"
"You've read my mind!" Sarah squealed happily, giggling. "I do like to run in the woods, and play around in the leaves...." She trailed off. Just dreaming about it made her itch with excitement.

"A guy? Hopefully he isn't like the last guy who chased after you."
"You only make that mistake once, you know." Sarah shivered. That guy had been a creep. He had almost... done it with her. Luckily, her knight in shining armor had come to the rescue. She never wanted to even think about that creep again. "He must love animals, like me, if he's going to work at the shelter!"

  • "That's true."

Alan chuckled. Yep, he could read her like a book if he wanted to, though he often restrained since he didn't want to invade her privacy.

"You've read my mind!" Sarah squealed happily, giggling. "I do like to run in the woods, and play around in the leaves...."

He gave her a warm smile and drained his cup. He indicated hers. "You done? Put it in the sink and I'll take care of it. Might want to grab some towels hang on.", he told her as he put his cup in the sink and went to grab two towels for them.

"You only make that mistake once, you know." "He must love animals, like me, if he's going to work at the shelter!"

Alan turned to her from where he was digging in the closet. "You sure? Just cuz a guy likes animals doesn't mean he's a good guy. The last guy liked animals too, but that was just to get you to like him.", he reminded her as he grabbed the towels and the car keys. He also grabbed his hat along the way.

"Ready to go?", he asked her.

  • "You done? Put it in the sink and I'll take care of it. Might want to grab some towels hang on."
Sarah nodded, gulping down the rest of the latte in the blink of an eye. She wipped her mouth against her wrist, throwing the cup right into the sink. She pumped her fist into the air, grinning.

"You sure? Just because a guy likes animals doesn't mean he's a good guy. The last guy liked animals too, but that was just to get you to like him."
"You haven't even met the guy! Neither have I! You can't judge a book by it's cover!" Sarah knew that Alan was protecting her. But, sometimes, it got slightly annoying. She was 20 years old, for crying out loud! She could make her own decisions about who she wants and who she doesn't want to date. Either way, she'll always love Alan, as a big brother.

    "Ready to go?"
"Hold on." Sarah mrumured, jumping towards her room. She slipped on her sneakers, and made sure her hate was covering both of her ears. She could still feel her tail between her legs, and grabbed her leather jacket, slipping it over her t-shirt. She quickly zipped it up, and walked back towards the foyer, smiling. "Okay, I'm ready now."

  • "You haven't even met the guy! Neither have I! You can't judge a book by it's cover!"

Alan paused in getting his shoes. She did have a point there. But he couldn't help it. How was he suppose to tell her that he cared because he liked her more than a sister? He couldn't tell her that was the problem. He didn't want to ruin the relationship between them so he kept quiet about his feelings. It was for the best. Their species never mingled together anyway.

A cougar and a wolf? Nay incompatible. It just wouldn't work out. So all Alan could do was to support her and watch her from the shadows, but that didn't mean he had to like every guy she dated. No it made his blood boil just by seeing her with some sleezy guy.

"You have a point. But it's just cuz I care Sarah. I don't want to see you hurt again....I don't want to see that expression on your beautiful face ever.", he told her, referring to the time when Alan came into the room and when Sarah almost got raped.

"Hold on." "Okay, I'm ready now."

Alan nodded and grabbed his converse shoes, tied up the laces and waited at the door. Once he saw that Sarah was ready, he opened the door for her and locked the door behind him. He indicated the area where their car was parked and started walking in the chilly winter weather. "Can't wait to be free.", he murmered as he walked. "I'll drive you to work later alright? And call me when you want to be picked up.", he told her as he checked to make sure he had his cell phone.

  • "You have a point. But it's just because I care Sarah. I don't want to see you hurt again....I don't want to see that expression on your beautiful face ever."
Sarah's face flushed slightly. Alan was treating her kindly, like a true brother would would. That comment, though, was like she was his girlfriend, or something. Oh, well. Might as well ignore it. It was true for her, too. She never wanted to be almost raped ever again.

"Can't wait to be free." "I'll drive you to work later alright? And call me when you want to be picked up."
Sarah nodded, checking to see if her cellphone was in her jeans pocket. She nodded, folding her arms across her chest to keep her warm. When she reached the car, she opened the passenger door in the front, and slipped inside, shutting it beside her. She buckled herself up, and waiting for Alan to get in. The woods was her paradise, and where she could just let everything go, and run free.

  • Alan got into the car and locked the doors. He stuck the key in the ignition and started the car up. He quickly put his wool cap on to cover his ears and then put the car in reverse and pulled out. The two of them shared the car and a motorcyle, but the motocycle was currently in their small garage for now and due to the cold, the car was a better way to travel.

Pulling into the road, he drove in the direction of the nearby land reserve where the two of them could run free in their animal forms without fear of people seeing them. Alan drove in silence, now knowing what to say after their last little bit of conversation.

He turned on the radio to FM and early Christmas songs were playing already. He left it like that as he drove. Soon they were getting closer to the reserve and he had to find a place to park the car and they had to walk the rest of the way to the place.

Finally he parked in front of some run down abandoned shack and got out of the car, remembering to grab two pags and the towels. He nodded to Sarah. "Let's go.", he told her as he locked the car up and started walking towards the fenced off area that prohibited trespassing. He carefully stepped over the fence, not wanting to set the alarm off and waited for Sarah to cross too.

  • Sarah cautiously stepped out of the car, careful to not slam it behind her. She hugged herself tightly, leaping over the fence. She breathed a sigh of relief, when the alarm didn't go off. She had been doing this for a while, she should never get nervous. The thought of being caught always scared her. She smiled at Alan, and giggled. "Well, I guess we part out ways here."

  • "Well, I guess we part out ways here."

Alan handed her a duffle bag and a towel. "Here, put your clothes into here and your belongings. Keep track of time. Meet me here around 7 so we can get going. Here take this blanket.", he told her and handed her the blanket.

He then gave her a small smile and a wave. "Have fun then. See ya.", he said as he turned and walked towards the east side. Along the way he started unbuttoning his shirt and taking his shirt off and stuffing it into the duffle bag. He found a small hole in a tree and after he undressed, keeping his boxers on, he stuff his clothing and blanket into the duffle bag and stuffed it into the hole in the tree, he also stuffed his hat.

Then he shifted into his natural cougar form and shook his body out. Ah the feeling of being free and having his tail flowing behind him and his ears not held down by a hat. With that he bounded off into the reserve to find other cougars to hang out with for the time being to take his mind off of Sarah.

(I'll have Ivan meet Sarah in wolf form :D )

  • { 'Kay! }

IC; Sarah began to part to the west side. While walking, she began to take her clothes off, when she found a den. She crawled inside, and stuffed everything else into her bag, zipping it up, and covering it with a large bush. Smiling, she slowly crawled out, her body parts changing into a wolf's parts. Before, Sarah had been on her hands and knees, a human. Now, there was a light brown wolf, with large brown eyes, in her place instead.

Sarah's nose twitched, catching the scent of a wolf. Someone to hang out with! Her free tail began to wag, and her ears angled around, following the scent. As a wolf, she felt alive, and free. Plus, it was more comfortable.
