Lemonpaw heard a hiss.
"Why should we get her?"
"Because she was on our land?" Lemonpaw's blood ran cold. That was a deeper voice. On of a warrior. The other one was probably an apprentice.
"So? That's so mouse brained." The apprentice scoffed.
"Whatever." The paw on her tail yanked even harder, and the creamy apprentice disappeared into the bush.

"Lemonpaw!" Cragpaw grabbed onto her front paws. Sharp grass poked into his eyes as he was dragged too. "Ow! Ow! Ow!"
Tabbysong yowled and launched herself at a nearby WindClan cat. "Let her go!" She spat furiously.

OOC: Hey, let's go join an adventurous thread. -
OOC: ??
Lemonpaw rounded on her attackers, stretching her claws and swiping blindly at the dark shadows. Her eyes gleamed with satisfaction as her thorn sharp claws connected with a cat's muzzle. She wrenched her tail out of the WindClan cat's grasp and bounded out of the gorse bush.
"Cragpaw! Tabbysong?" Lemonpaw cried out desperately. -
"Yarrr!" Cragpaw shook pieces of muddy grass from his nose and barreled into a WindClan apprentice blindly.
Tabbysong gave a graceful leap at the WindClan warrior. "Go away, you piece of fox dung!"
OOC: I meant, since we can't keep creating plot for the two cats. Maybe we should go join an excitng plotty thred. Dunno. Just suggesting...
-
Lemonpaw cleared her throat. "Uh, tabby song, Cragpaw? We're fighting WindClan on their own land." She announced as soon as every cat froze. Looking behind her, she took a couple steps back over the border until she was standing in ThunderClan territory.
-
Trust the apprentices to step into WindClan territory! Tabbysong sighed.
"We apologize for our...slight intrusion."
Great patrol. She decided to share a word with Lemonpaw's mentor in the camp later.Cragpaw scratched the back of his ears. "Oh yeah.." So THEY were intruding. Oh.
-
Lemonpaw shuffled her paws beneath her. Big whup. Great job, Lemonpaw! she congratulated herself sarcastically. Once they were back on ThunderClan territory, the cream colored apprentice sighed. "Sorry." She mumbled truthfully, padding behind Cragpaw with her tail dragging in the dust.
-
"Yeah, Tabbysong. We're sorry," Cragpaw meowed, naturally thinking that Lemonpaw was apologizing to Tabbysong, "We were being mousebrained."
Tabbysong sighed. "Cragpaw, you are ALWAYS being mousebrained. As for Lemonpaw.."
What had excited the apprentice so much? Maybe being around Cragpaw had influenced her too much. Oh no!
"Just don't try to do what Cragpaw would have done." -
"What? I wasn't! That was just me." She protested, standing up for her friend.
-
"No, Cragpaw was running alongside you," Tabbysong snorted, although it was true that everything was Lemonpaw's fault. She was a bit tired of Cragpaw creating crazy troubles. Her patrol entered the camp. "I'll go report this to the deputy."
Meanwhile, Cragpaw was NOT listening to Tabbysong's nagging, but devising up a trick for Tabbysong. Ha ha ha. He began to feel so ebil.
-
Once Lemonpaw saw it wasn't worth arguing, she bent her head, padding alongside Cragpaw. "Sorry for getting us into that mess." She mumbled.
-
Tabbysong padded away.
"Huh?" Cragpaw said. Now that he thought about it, it WAS Lemonpaw's fault. That confused him. Whenever something happened, it was usually his fault. "No, it's fine," he meowed, having been into loads of trouble before. This was nothing compared to the good deeds he'd done. "Let's go catch a few fresh-kill. That might keep us from being confined to the camp."
But they might miss the next Gathering though. Ouch! -
Lemonpaw nodded sulkily. She never got in trouble. She was just.....clumsy on her paws. The young apprentice had simply stood up and tripped, falling right into a WindClan patrol. It shouldn't have been that big of a deal.
Right?
-
Cragpaw shook his head, the incident with WindClan already fading in his head. He picked up a piece of juicy mouse.
"Share?" The apprentice purred. -
Lemonpaw nodded. "Yes, thanks." She meowed, taking a bite.
-
Feeling very content and satisfied, Cragpaw shared the mice with Lemonpaw. She was really great to be with.
-
Lemonpaw sat back on her haunches, and swallowed. "I'm exhausted." She yawned and stretched, her muscles rippling beneath her glossy cream colored fur.
-
OOC: Let's sleep...
Cragpaw licked behind Lemonpaw's ears. Her fur was soft and smelled of fresh ferns.
"Let's sleep in the den."
Yeah, they had had a lively patrol, after all. -
Lemonpaw thought this was a good idea. She padded into the den, curling up in her nest in the back. She closed her eyes and let her thoughts drift. She was a mound of yellow tabby fur in the gloom, her sleek fur moving up and down rhythmically with her breathing.
-
The next day, Cragpaw woke up again. He felt so warm and comfortable. He glanced at his right to see Lemonpaw. Oh. She was pretty when she was sleeping. He blinked. Okay. She's pretty. That's a fact. What's wrong about thinking about that? But the brown apprentice awkwardly flicked his tail in embarrassment.
