    The spring rains are coming, and for MoorClan that means disaster! The stream at the edge of the territory is going to overflow during the constant downpour and flood much of the territory! And if that wasn't enough, a pack of dogs has been spotted sniffing around the edge of the territory, and will attack the clan's camp, killing several cats {please offer up a cat}.

    Diamondchain woke up, stretched, and tip-toed past her slumbering brother. As she padded out of the Warrior's Den she lifted nose to the bright morning sky, soaking in the bright sunlight. Let she let out a purr of delight, happy to be alive.

    Poppyseed woke from a light nights sleep, she hasn't slept well that night and she was rather tired. She stretched out her coat puffing up and she trotted out of the herb scented den to the fresh kill pile. She dipped her head to Diamondchain before she began to eat a mouse that sat ontop of the pile.


    Sabrepaw yawned loudly and padded out of the apprentices den and stretched. His muscles rippled beneath his short coat and he flicked his ears sitting down to groom his pelt.

    Diamondchain nodded back and selected a vole from the FK pile. She sat to eat it, slowly savoring the sweet taste of the young vole.

    Windsong let out a yawn as she stretched. Quietly she hopped over the sleeping forms of her clanmates and padded out into the light of morning. Blinking sleep back from her eyes she headed for the fresh kill pile. She plucked a small mouse from the pile, and quickly ate it. Windsong glanced around the camp. As her eyes fell upon Diamondchain she called to the she-cat, "Diamondchain! Could you round up some cats and lead a patrol to the northern border?"



    Icepaw gently licked her silvery white fur, smoothing out the ruffles from last night. After making sure that all her fur was lying flat, Icepaw, padded out of the nearly empty apprentices' den and into the camp. She immediately made for the fresh kill pile, and picked out a sparrow. Finding a nice place on the edge of the camp she bit deeply into the bird.

    "I'm sure it's OK with him because he's coming on the patrol too," Diamondchain answered.

    "Then I'm your girl!" Icepaw meowed with a smile. Then she took the final bite of her bird, and licked any traces of it off of her lips. She then padded over to her mentor to await the rest of the hunting patrol. "What are we going to do after the patrol?" she asked Burnfusion quietly.

    "Battle training," Burnfusion decided. "Come on guys, let's go," Diamondchain mewed, heading out of the camp.

    Icepaw's icy blue eyes lit up at the prospects of battle training, this would be her first time out! Mostly Burnfusion had been working on hunting with her, but now battle training! Her heart felt like it was going to burst with the excitement of it all! She followed the two warriors out of camp, her mind only half on the job of hunting before her at the moment.


    OOC: I'm sorry...

    Saberpaw grumbled as the other cats left for a patrol leaving the tom at camp. He grumbled and groaned muttering as he ate his fresh kill. That's when the worst thing happened! Poppyseed asked him for help with her herb things.


    Poppyseed noticed Sabrepaw grumbling "Oh stop grumbling, I need you to help me, first got fetch some dock. This is what it looks like." she showed him a leaf of it before heading back to her den to sort the herbs into neat piles and count them.


    OOC: you to? I have one and I'm puking. Happy Days!

    Ashpaw yawned and blinked her eyes open. She looked around the medicine cat den with her one good eye. Breathing in the fresh morning air, she stepped outside into the camp. Ashpaw glanced at the few cats awake. She also noticed few cats leaving for a hunting patrol, things were all normal like always.


    Soulpaw grumbled when sunlight broke through into the apprentices den. He stood up and yawned, his muscles rippling. Soulpaw saw a hunting patrol exit the camp, his mentor leading it. Aw man, they left without me.. He sighed, wanting to help hunt and be able to get better at it.

    Poppyseed watched her apprentice rise from her slumber and pad out of the den. She followed and came up next to her. She paused with a sigh "How was your sleep?" she flicked her graceful tail. She would not mention that due to her apprentices late awakening she had sent of another apprentice to do what he should be doing.


    Sabrepaw huffed as be began searching for leaves of dock in the forest. He eventually found a clump of dock leaves, he grumbled and picked the leaves carefully, his teeth not piercing the herb itself. He slowly carried the bundle of herbs in his jaws back to camp. He shouldn't be doing this! Ashpaw should! To lazy to do her own job, he shook his head as he arrived at camp. He delivered the bundle to the medicine cats den. He placed the bundle down and headed out wondering where Windsong was.

    Ashpaw smiled and looked at her mentor, "It was good. What do you need me to do for you?" She flicked her tail, eager to get started with collecting and lerning medicine. Ashpaw also noticed that Sabrepaw had already gotten dock leaves. Oops, I really need to get an earlier start. Don't want to be seen as a lazy apprentice.

    Poppyseed smiled and dipped her head in Thankyou to Sabrepaw as he padded past "I need you to sort out the dock leaves" she paused "but first how, and what are dock leaves used for?" she waited for an answer. Her tail flicking side to side with patience, her eyes glittering with the same kindness as always when she looked and talked to her friends and apprentice.

    Ashpaw paused for a moment, thinking. Dock leaves, dock leaves... Then, remembering something she perked up her ears, "Is it for... Soothing stings?" she asked hoping it was correct.

    Windsong ran through the rest of the patrols in her head, making sure that she didn't double schedule any cat. Once she was sure that she had gotten rid of all the flaws she looked around for her apprentice. "Sabrepaw! Come on, we're going to do some one on one battle training," she called to her apprentice.

    Sabrepaw leapt to his paws and ran over This is more like it! he thought his tail twitching in anticipation "Oh Yeah! Finally something useful!" he pricked his rounded ears and pranced on the spot his tail swaying side to side.


    Poppyseed nodded slightly before adding onto the answer "Scratches and bites as well" she paused "Now go have a price of prey before you sort out the dock leaves, If you need me I'm collecting some Marigold an Poppyseed" she purred and headed out of camp.
