  • OOC: so do you want to stick with the original idea of the iron court stealing her or do you want to do something different. I was thinking my girl has cancer. Her mother died from it and now she has it. But no one knows. All they know is that she gets really sick sometimes. I figured she would get sick in Sage's home and he would have to look after her. And as he does he realizes how vulnerable she is. How sweet and innocent she is and he starts to fall head over heels for her. But doesn't realize it until its almost to late. Then he heals her cancer. Or finds someone who can :D

  • "Ugh men, you are no different then the rest. Think you know everything because you are fey. All mighty powerful." She groaned and sat on the ground in front of the fireplace. Her back to him. The cloak covering all of her as she sat near the fire. Absorbing its heat. She glared at the fire. Her eyes now a light blue mixed with green as the fire reminded her of her dream. In the dream Sage had been sweet and caring. He had laughed at her but only because he thought her cute. He was completely different from the Sage that sat behind her now. And she wished she was back in the room, sound asleep and dreaming. She had nothing left to say to him. Her mind was in a different world, a dream world. Her head lay slightly rested on her arm as she stared off into space. Leaving this horrid world behind and going into the fantasy world she wished she was in. A world where she wasn't some silly human who could be easily squished like a bug. She was a goddess in her imaginary world and it cheered her up. Her mind forgetting about the dark mysterious and dangerously sexy fey prince behind her.

  • Sage finished his rather tasty meal and quietly set down hisbowl, his silver eyes drifting around the room before settling on the girl. Sh loked so small, vulnerable, lovely... she stirred protective feelings within the Winter Faery's frozen heart and it was rather odd. Yet thrilling at the same time. He grinned and ran his fingers through his unbound shoulder length hair, all the time watching his pet. And she was HIS. Whether the kitten knew it or not, she belonged to him completely and he planned on doing what he wished with her. His prize, his treasure. Oh, his beautiful and perfect treasure

  • Courtney jumped out of her day dream as something bit her arm. She gasped and swatted it away. A small pixie giggled and started to flutter around the room. Courtney hissed as she stood and rubbed her arm, watching the annoying thing fly around. "What the ....." She had heard about pixie's but she didn't realize that they exsisted as well as the fey. She raised her eyebrow and glanced over at Sage with a questioning look on her face. Surprised that the little creature was real and if her eyes weren't wrong then the thing was also sticking its tongue out at her. She gasped and picked up a book. Ready to throw it at the childish humanoid.

  • Sage watched the interaction with an amused smile upon his fearures, and tilted his head slowly at her questioning gaze. For a moment he simply couldn't answer, her gaze held him enthralled, those blue eyes so open and innocent, it settled into his heart, it was as if she could see into his cold soul and was melting it-
What was this maddeness? He quickly broke eye contact and glared at the pesk, faintly surprised it had managed to make it this far i to the winter borders. He frowned deeply as the female pixie arched her back seductively at Sage, as was usual for the flying miniscule creatures, she was not wearing any clothes and her blue skin was a bright speck of color in the room. He rolled his eyes and flung out his hand, gathering glamour within him and releasing it quickly.
Silver eyes watched as the tiny winged thing fell to the ground and shattered in a million frozen shards, before vanishing completely. "Annoying things." He commented and shrugged it off, finally returning his gaze to Courtney's

  • Courtney threw the book but of course it missed. She was about to grab another book when she saw the pixie freeze and then plummet to the ground. She gasped and let out a light scream as the small creature shattered on contact. She quickly turned to glare at Sage. Her eyes a dark mix of blue and green. The cloak slid off her head, exposing her long bouncing auburn curls. Her cheeks were creamy colored and had little bits of color from the heat of the fire place. She then threw the book she was holding at Sage. Her anger back in full force. "Why did you do that?!" Then something caught her eye and she glanced back down at the ground. Her eye brows raising as she watched the pixie slowly melting. No not melting, simply disappearing. "Ewww!" She squeaked as she stepped back into the hall way. Away from the wet ground and the cruel Ice fey prince. She felt the room start to waver. And out of no where she began to sweat and pant. The clothes now feeling way to hot as she stumbled pack down the hallway.

  • He rolled his eyes. Scream and cry, such typical human reactions, she was beginning to become predictable. With a heave of a great sigh he stood and prepared to turn, his response already coming from his mouth "because, i don't know about you, but i definately don't want to have to deal with a stealing and bitng-" h saw Courtney about to collapse and alarm rushed through him. "Courtney!" He gasped and with the grace and speed only a faery could portray, he was beside her and catching hher limp form.
"What's wrong?" He demanded, his silver eyes checkng her over, searching for some clue as to what had did this. Physically she seemed fine, although she was deathly pale and a sheen of sweat coated her skin. "Courtney, did you eat something?" He asked and upon not receiving an answer he shook the girl, fear and desperation beginning to well up in his heart.
What if she had eaten something the damned pixie had brought her, or she had found a piece of fruit left over from his breakfast and had decided to try a bite? Oh, this was bad, bad. "He loked down at her, and once again jolted her body "dammit Courtney, did you eat something?!" He hollared, his face a twisted mask of terrified fury. He could not let her die, She was HIS for the Wyld's sake!

  • Courtney's eyes fluttered shut as she fell into his arms. Her body sweating and panting. She cringed as if in pain each time he shook her. It was happeneing again. Her body was breaking down and draining her of energy and life. She groaned something to him but it wasn't understandable. Then reached up to the cloak and undi the clasp. The cloak falling to the ground. She then reached for the edge of of sweater. Pulling it over her stomach. She needed to be out of the filthy clothes. She was dripping sweat onto them and her hair was sticking to her moist face. She kicked her shoes off and blinked a few times. Feeling as if any moment she would pass out. She cleared her throat and then swallowed hard. As if the process was painful. "To hot." She pleaded as she panted harder. Her hands fumbling to pull her sweater from her body. Exposing a pink tank top underneath. She needed water and rest. Maybe even a doctor. But she refused to ask him for help. It wasn't like he cared anyways. "I'm hungry." She managed to groan out before she leaned into his chest. Absorbing his strength. If Sage looked at the glamer her body created he would see that it was tinted with something and it wasn't good.
