  • He nodded slowly, his eyes midly amused. "Yes, dragons exist. Nasty crerures, no fun to talk to either. But enough questions, you look as if you may fall asleep on the spot, which she probably would. "Why thank you for the compliment on my cooking, although i must warn you, one of the herbs which i put in there has a profoundeffect on humans. It makes them sleep deeply and quite well. I figured after the long day you have had you could use it." He grinned innocently and his eyes narrowed minutely. The other reason he had used the herb was to keep the human from running. That would do no good for Sage's plans. He watched her, waiting for the effects to takehold of her body, a smile still in place on his lips, his silver eyes gentle looking and soft. The Winter prince was the personification of gentle and caring host, but in his kind he was thinking of how best to take advantage of the pesky mortal, and whether or not she'd be worth his trouble.

  • "You drugged me?!" She stumbled away from him. Her eyes dark with betrayal as she put her hand over her mouth. A loud yawn erupting as she held herself against the wall. Her eyes going cloudy as she felt dizzy and sleepy. She was pissed, her cheeks flushed from her sudden change of mood. But she was to tired to do anything but glare at him. Keeping a good distance from him. Drugging her was the worst thing he could of ever done. For he had destroyed any trust she had in him. She threw the bowl of soup to the floor, letting it spill every where. A show of just how angry she was. Her body falling asleep as she swayed back and forth.

  • With a movement as graceful and as smooth as water he swooped her up into his arms, cardling her against his cool chest. "Drugging is... the wrong word." He said. "Don't worry, when you wake in the morning you will find yourself in no harm. I will not hurt you tonight Courtney, i promise." He said looking into her drowsy eyes and he carried her easily into her room. As the herb took affect her weight became heavir and heavier and upon setting er down on thelarge and comfortable bed he found her edging closer to sleep and to dreams. "I wish you no harm right now my dear, relax. " he breathed and gently smoothed her hair away from her face. "Sleep well Courtney Vincent." He murmured and left the room, leavng the doo open so he could keep watch over her and make sure no harm came to her and so that she wouldn't try and escape. He did not worry about her anger or the loss of trust, he would gain it back easily, and he would do it by being the man ever woman wanted.

  • Courtney tried to argue as her eyes closed and she started to fall asleep. She murmured something as he placed her on the bed but it wasn't English and could not be understood. She saw him disappear from the room and as she did she fell into unconsciousness. Her body relaxing against the huge soft bed. Her body shivered at the change of heat in the room. Her no longer by the hot fire. Her arms and legs covered in shivers and paler then usual. She shivered in her sleep and curled into a small ball. Her arms wrapped around her knee's as she slept. Her auburn hair sprawled out on the bed and pillow. Little bits of brown and red curls glinting in the slight moon light coming in from the window. Her chest rising and falling as she breathed peacefully. Deep in sleep. Her anger subdued for the moment as she slept. But she did in fact dream. She dreamed of her normal life. Her small apartment and simple car. Her boring college and casual boyfriend. They were never committed to each other. Just dates here and there. But as she slept she dreamed of his face. His short blonde hair. His green eyes and small frame. He was then replaced with Sage. Him walking her to class. Showing her off to his friends. The dream confused her, especially because she knew it wasn't real. Why was her sub consequence thinking about Sage?

  • Courtney woke with a jump. Remembering everything that had happened the night before. Her anger back in full force. She was even more upset because she believed that he had invaded her dreams. For she knew all about fey and them having to do with dreams. She stood and was about to storm into the living room when she glanced down at herself. The blue dress wrinkled and no longer pleasing to the eye. She groaned and switched into a pair of black jeans and a pink sweater. She then slid on a pair of gloves and black boots. She knew it was snowy and cold outside and had no plan of freezing to death. She grabbed one of the cloaks. It was thick and heavy. The inside had some kind of fur and she moaned loving the warmth it gave her as she tied it around her. Then pulled the hood up to cover her head. She went over to the door and slowly closed it. Hoping Sage wouldn't hear. Then slid a chair against the door. Blocking the entrance. She refused to stay in this cabin with Sage. She turned and ran to the window, trying to pry it open. Hoping Sage was either gone or fast asleep.

  • Sage of Winter looked at the closed door and raised his eyebrows slowly. "Trying to plan an escape already." He mused softly and strode to the door which led outside, stepping out into the icy landscape of his home Court. He shut the front door and loked into Courtney's window, smiling in amusement as he saw her trying to open it. "Good marrow Courtney." He greeted her, his silver eyes shining. He looked quite different from last night, his face was still all angles and his ears still knifed up fron the side of his hrad, but shoulder length black hair now flowed freely against his neck, his eyes not quite as civilized as they had been the previous night, the black shirt he had been wearing was gon and his flawless chest was bare save for a long scar which stretched from his collar bone to his naval. Sage looked untamed and darkly mysterious. Handsome that was for damn sure. But Courtney herself looked stunning as well. He eyed the cloak, a grin stretching across his full lips. "And you were going to steal my cloak. That isn't curtious." He said mildly, not syivering as the snow brushed lovingly across his bare chest, like an old friend or lover.

  • Courtney cursed as she saw him on the other side of the window. Her anger building more and more. She rolled her eyes and turned from the window. Refusing to look at him any longer. She refused to like him or his luscious body. Even though nothing compared to the sight of his bare chest. It made her tummy tighten and she bit her lip aggravated as she ignored it. The window was no use. It was frozen shut. She walked over to the bed and plopped onto it. Her arms crossed over her chest as she glared daggers at the floor. Last night had proved that this was in fact real. For she should of awoken in her own world but she hadn't. Instead she was stuck in this other world, with a prince fey who she wasn't sure could be trusted. She left the chair up against the door. Not caring if he could get in or not.

  • He shrugged and went back indide. Fine, let the girl throw a hissy fit. Sage hummed an old Winter ballad as he stirred the fire, throwing on some wood until the flames were blazing once again. He then turned to preparing breakfast. What did the Prince want? Helooked over his stores of meats, plants of various kinds and spices and herbs. In the end he settled on making a simple fruit mix in a wooden bowl and he plopped down on the comfortable couch, thoughtfully turning a rather spicily sweet fruit around in his mouth. "You might as well stop being angry Courtney Vincent." He called and munched on a juicy morcle, swallowing before he continued "you were hungry and the herb had been in the soup before i even knew of your presence in Winter." Sage informed the woman, bouncing his leg lazily, unperturbed by her angry mood. "I did not purposely drug you and as i had promised, no harm came to you." The man yawned and popped another fruit into his mouth with a small feeling of happiness

  • Courtney stormed out of the room. A pillow in her hand. Once she was at the end of the hallway she hurled the pillow at him. Her cheeks bright red. She still wore his Cloak and she planned on keeping it. "I am not eating ANYTHING you feed me. Maybe the second you realized it was drugged you should of feed me something else. I'm going home...today." She said with authority. Her chest rising and falling as she panted hard. Her head tilted up. Exposing her neck and chin. She refused to take no for an answer.

  • He easily dodged the pillow and grined. "Not drugged. I was able to eat it ithout adverse affects. I am a faery. Andwhat do you suppose i could have given you? Everythng save salt is poisonous to your body." He shrugged. "Plus it helped you sleep no? I see no problem here." He looked up and peered into her eyes. "And i cannot take you home. Every trod is blacked and gaurded. My Court is on the brink of war. I'd rather you not be killed." Sage purred and gestured to the chair opposite him. "Stop being mad with me, i have no viscious intent towards you right now. I won't even offer you breakfast since it offends you so, even though i did go through great pains during the long night togather food supplies not detrimential to your system. No matter, i do not wish to upset you." He sat back into his own seat, chewing away on his breakfast of fruits of various kinds, waiting to see her reaction, violent or otherwise

  • "Why did you help me? Why are you feeding me? Why don't you let me leave so i can go home or die?" Her hands were now on her hips. She stood still at the end of the hallway. Refusing to move to sit on the chair next to him. She didn't trust him one little bit at the moment. She glared at his silver eyes. Her own eyes dark blue, filled with her furry. Her eyes accidentally dropped down to stare at his bare chest. Sh She shivered from the electricity that coursed up her spine. She then looked back at his face again. hating the way he simply laughed at her."Am i that amusing to you?!" She asked angrily. Tired of not being in control of her own body.

  • Her outbursts caused his mouth to quirk up in another laughing smile "my dear, you ask so many questions. Sit and simply be here and know i am simply trying to do what is beneficial to us both." He gestured again to the chai, watching her. "You are only amusing to me because you allow your emotions to control you so completely, just like every human does. I can read you like an open book Courtney Vincent, which mean any creature of Faery could. You'd be dead upon taking 5 steps out that door." He informed her. "And that won't do, i am responsible for you now and if you died that'd be quite upsetting to me." He frowned as he thought about seeing the pretty auburn haired girl lying dead with a look of horror frozen on her delicate features, blackning crimson colored pool spreading out from her still body. Not a good picture and not something Sage wished to happen. No he would ruin this girl from the inside and let her depression end her. That was how the game was played. And that is how Sage planned on this game ending

  • "Ugh men, you are no different then the rest. Think you know everything because you are fey. All mighty powerful." She groaned and sat on the ground in front of the fireplace. Her back to him. The cloak covering all of her as she sat near the fire. Absorbing its heat. She glared at the fire. Her eyes now a light blue mixed with green as the fire reminded her of her dream. In the dream Sage had been sweet and caring. He had laughed at her but only because he thought her cute. He was completely different from the Sage that sat behind her now. And she wished she was back in the room, sound asleep and dreaming. She had nothing left to say to him. Her mind was in a different world, a dream world. Her head lay slightly rested on her arm as she stared off into space. Leaving this horrid world behind and going into the fantasy world she wished she was in. A world where she wasn't some silly human who could be easily squished like a bug. She was a goddess in her imaginary world and it cheered her up. Her mind forgetting about the dark mysterious and dangerously sexy fey prince behind her.

  • OOC: When were you wanting the iron fey to capture her? Or when was Puck going to be thrown into the mix? lol trying to think of things to spice it up. I don't want you to lose muse.
