Courtney looked at him as if he was crazy. Her eyebrows raised and her eyes questioning him. She took his hand and slid off the horse. Then pulled her hand out of his grasp. She had heard of the wyld. But they had always been fairy tales. They were never taken seriously. She looked over at the cabin and shivered once more. Hoping it was warming on the inside. She then turned to glance at the man again. He was way to handsome and it made her cheeks blush. He did look like a character out of the fairy books but she refused to believe it. "Where are the fairies then?" She asked, a small smile spreading across her face as she teased him.

He led her inside, he smile actually spreading. The interior of the building was actually rather warm and inviting, quite different from the hostile envirement of outdoors. "The Fey?" He chuckled. "You're looking at one. Prince of the Winter Court, at your service." He said and bowed low a the waist, a mockery of a bow. He gracefully walked over to the fireplace, his steps as fluid as the prowess of a great feline. "May iask your name?" He asked lazily, grabbing a log and tossing it inyo the bright fire. The flames lept up and embers floated through the air. He then stood and reclined against a wall, his cunning eyes searching the girl. She was beautiful, definately, and slightly reserved. Obviously smart. This was going to be mach funnfor Sage, and he planned on playing with his prize before dumping her back where she belonged, worse for wear than upon her arrival.
-
Courtney started to circle around the room. Looking at her surrondings. Everything looked and felt so real. She even felt pain. Which almost instantly proved it wasn't a dream but she wasn't completely convinced yet. She sighed and crossed her arms over her chest as she sat in a chair near the fire place. A safe distance from this fey prince. "Fey prince, I am defiantly dreaming." She lightly laughed to herself and then blushed once more. She was used to men looking at her. But not likethis. Atleast back home they tried to hide it, looking away when she noticed them. But he didn't, he stared at her. His eyes looking all knowing. He was older and way smarter then he apeared and it made her nervous. She crossed her legs and looked down at her feet. A huge blush across her cheeks as she saw the horrible state she was in. She was filthy and her clothes were ruined. She shok her head and tried to ignore it as she glanced up at Sage again. "Not supposed to talk to strangers...but I guess you can call my Miss Vincent." She gave him her last name. Not trusting him yet to give him any serious information about herself. Courtney was smarter then she looked and she had read all about the fey. She loved super naurual creatures. She even had a tatooe of a dragon on her shoulder. She had always wanted to be in a different world and she found this pretty ironic.
-
His eyebrows shot into his hairline before he recovered himselfand nodded stoically. "A pleasure to meet you Miss Vincent. I am Sage, Prince of the Unseelie Court." He introduced himsekf. Now to set into motion his plans. The girl most asuredly would need and want to get home. Especially sice war was brewing between the three Courts. Not that Sage cared if she got caught up in this, but the Winter Prince tended to be a jealous person and thinking of some summer or iron faery taking off with what he considered to be his new toy was not something he cared to imagine. So he'd have to have his fun and return her as soon as possible. This added the perks of more of a challenge and a deadline. Sage did love games.
-
"Nice to meet you Sage. Now can I go home?" She stood and shedded the claok. Letting it fall into the chair. She then looked down at her clothes and groaned in annoyance. "Maybe a change of clothes?" She sighbed and smiled kindly. Hopeing he would say yes. For she hated to be in dirty clothes. She looked around insecurely and out her hands on her hips. Weather this was a dream or not she wanted to get out of here. Sag'es handsomeness was tempting her and she never liked being out of control. She was Courtney Vincent. Had been on her own for 4 years, was closed off and independent. She didn't need some Fey prince to help her. Although she was pretty sure she was still unconcinsence under the rock. She realy hoped she waked up soon.
-
Sage held up his hands "do i look like the kind of guy who carries spare girls clothes?" He asked dryly before remembering something. "Oh. Through that door, there's a closet full of old clothes. There might even be some women's dresses. Maybe." He shrugged and his flashing silver eyes found hers. "Home... we cannot get you back to the mortal realm as of current." He said truthfully. The next part would be tricky as hpthr truthwas he didn't want her to go for it would ruin his plans. "My Court is on the brink of war. The danger is great." He said. The statements were completely true, but they were not the reason as to why he could not take her back. But this was how she would probably take it. It was so incredibly easy to fool humans. "Get changed and i will have a meal ready for you when you return." He said
-
Courtney raised her eyebrow at him. Not fully trusting him. Then sighed and nodded. She figured it wouldn't hurt to sit in a cabinj for a few days. After all this was just a dream so its not like she could get hurt. She turned and walked down the hallway and into the bedroom. It was a simple guest looking bedroom and walked over o the closet and threw it open. She smiled slightly as she saw the clotheing and began to go through it. Looking for something that didn't looked like a ridiculous ball gown. She finally found a simple blue dress. It looked skin tight and she hoped it would fit. She then began to take her clothes off. Using the clothes to wipe the dirt off her face and body. She then slide the dress on. Surprised as it fit almost perfectly. She only wished there was a mirror.

Ooc: this is not lack of muse, this is not having much to reply to xD
Bic: Sage put the blackened fire-hardened wooden pot back on the fire, just out of direct heat so it wouldn't burn tbrough. The delicious smells eminating from the stew inside the pot was mouthwatering and his stomach produced a small rumble of complaint. He hadn't eaten since yesterday. With a sigh he sat back in the chari nearest the fireplace, his silver eyes trained on the flickering flames, which danced for him and cast defined shadows against his face. He felt a tug of some forgotten thing on his mind and shook his head. What could he have... oh! He remembered now. With a lazy wave of his hand the glamour he'd put on for the girl's sake melted away, showing his true unearthly beauty. With that matter settled he reclined and his gaze became distant, thoughts of times past flickering in his mind's eye

Courtney finished getting dressed. She slid her new black shoes off and walked down the hallway toward the main room. Her brown hair was now hanging down her shoulders in waves. Her tourqoise eyes slightly glitering and little bits of her make up left over. Her eye lashes long and black. Her lips slightly pink. The blue dress hung to her body perfectly except for being to long. She held the edges of the dress slightly up so she wouldn't step on it as she walked. The cut on her eyebrow had ben cleaned up but it still looked bad. She finally made it into the living room, she turned the corner to face Sage and she immediatly dropped the edges of her dress. It spilling to the floor. Her eyes widened and she swalowed nervously . He was way to god looking. His features had became more angled. His ears pointed, his silver eyes haunting and glowing. She couldn't stop staring and her cheeks were bright red as she gauked at him. He was definatly a prince of the fey. She now felt ugly. Hr confidence completely destroyed. Her body did little shivers as she stayed put.

OOC: slid the shoes on not off lol damn phone..

Feeling the presence of another, sage turned, a lazy expression on his features which he only just managed to keep in place as he saw Vincent. She was beautiful. Not the eerie beauty of winter or the wild gorgeous of summer or even the oddly cold elegance of iron. She was a beautiful which held light and life and innocence. Untainted human. He gave her a slow grin, his eyes shining with appreciation. The blue was the perfect hue for her skin, it brought out the bluer tones of her turqouis eyes, gave her brown hair a slight boost of those hidden red natural highlights. Her creamy skin was white, but not deathly white, the perfect cream and rose combination, and her thin frame was not sickly, petite, yes, but no where near emaciated thinness. "Now that," he purred in silky tones, "is what i call perfection incarnate." He said, adding a leisurely up and down look with his eyes for emphasis.
-
The compliment and the way he looked at her only made her blush grow redder. She smiled kindly as if accepting his compliment then glanced around the room. "It was either this or ball gown dresses." She said quietly. Not knowing what to do or say. She then bit her lip and glanced back at him. How had he changed so quickly? He looked way more super nagural now then before. Had he been hiding his beauty from her before? She wondered to herself as she looked him over again.s he was starting to believe everything he had told her. It was to real feeling, she felt pain, fear and passion. All those things were to realistic and it freaked her out. "Food?" She questioned. Trying to think about anything else other then this weird world and the all to attractive man. She felt a tremer go through her body and she shivered it off and stepped toward the kitchen. She was going to eat and then leave. She had no plans on staying here any longer. It was far to creepy and she didn't like it. Plus she didn't quite trust Sage. It seemed as if he was to friendly and way to quick to help her. Which from the movies and books she had read about fey was not normal. He had something going on and she wanted to leave before she found out what it was.

OOC: gone already..:(

Wala wala wala!!!! *sings to herself*

Sage grinned "i would've quite liked to see you inna ballgown. Or without one would work too." he smirked before ladling out some stew into a wooden bowl and handing it to her, his eyes locking with hers. Her scent was actually intoxicating, the life which pulsed through her drove him wild. Out of instinct he drew glamour away from her, and felt himself become stronger. Yes, this girl would be quite an asset to have around. She was so full ofturbulent emotions. Fear, lust, curiousity, embarassement... it was too perfect. Sage stood a little closer to the girl who insisted upon being called miss. Vincent and lowered his voice to a seductive growl. "I know that beauty of yours has a more pleasing name than Miss. Vincent." He murmured, letting his hand brush hers, making it seem like an accident, his eyes a gentle and sincere-seeming questioning gaze

Courtney was caught off guard. She had never seen men act like this. Especially not men who were so, so delicious. Now that he was closer to her she could see every muscle in his strong arms. A hint of his becks through his shirt. She bit her lip and looked away. Her terqoise eyes now almost pure blue and dark from her passion. He made her stomach flutter and she closed her eyes, steadying her breathing. She had never felt like this in her life. His presence alone took her breath away. She gasped as his hand touched hers and looked back at him. A million things racing through her mind. His silver eyes were foggy and so different all she could do was stare into them. His hand had been cold and yet when he had touched her had felt fire go up her entire body. She shivered as she thought about it and then shook it off. Refusing to get all hot and bothered over a complete stranger who barely even touched her. He was just to good looking. Everything about him perfect, as if he was sculpted from the gods. She took a step away from him, accepting the bowl of soup. Then settling back into the comfy chair. "From what I have read a name tells you a lot about a person. Allows you certain power or magic over someone. How do i know you aren't a cat and me your simple mouse."
-
He couldn't help but grin at this question, damn, she was smart. And good looking, a powerful combination. "This is... true." He said at last, taking his own bowl of stew and sprawling gracfully across his armchair. "Name is the Faery world are indeed powerful things, but," andthis is where Sage had to be careful. He could not tell her he did not wish her harm, for it would be a lie, but to tell her the truth would make her balk and run away. She was like a cornered cat and he a hungry wolf. He musn't cause his prey to run off in fear. "But, i do jpnot wish to use your name in any... vulgerway. I simply woyld like to know. You are in my lodge after all. It is only polite." He said with a voice like satin and silk. His entire posture portrayed vulnerability, kindness, a little bit of lust too, but not too much, so as to scare her away. No just enough shone in his eyes so she would be interested, curious, turned on even.
-
Courtney raised her eyebrow at him as she blew on her hot soup. She took a mouthful and moaned slightly at its taste. She was used to eating crackers and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. She never had anything this delicious. Her stomach even rumbled as she swallowed the succulent stew. "Wow, that's tasty." She licked her lips, enjoying the salt that lingered there. Then blushed once again as she looked up at him and saw his eyes still on her. It looked as though his eyes looked at her mouth and she instinctively covered it as she giggled. "I'm sorry, Its just so good." She laid her bowl on her lap and pushed her hair behind her ear. Getting it out of her face. Her hair slid just enough to expose her shoulder. Showing creamy flesh and her dragon tattoo. She looked him over, pondering what he said. She wanted to trust him but he was like a male siren. She was afraid to fall for his trap and drowned. But her gut told her she was being rude. She groaned and cleared her throat as her mind told her to be brave for once. "Its Courtney." She smiled nervously and looked back at the fire, enjoying its warm. She only wished she had a cooler name. His was Sage and was a fey prince. She was just Courtney Vincent. No family and a college student. Nothing exciting about that.
-
He grinned, a preditory sner, which turned into a more sincere curling of the mouth as she looked at him. "You look tired, my loveliest Courtney. Do you wish to go to bed?" He asked, tilting his head endearingly before standing up and sitting beside her onthe couch. Slowly, unthreateningly, he caressed the dragon-mark on her bare shoulder. "Nasty reatures, dragons. And not the most enjoyable talking companions either." He said and looked at Courtney with hibrilliant silver eues, his lips parted lightly. "If you wish, i shall sleep on the couch as you take the bed.. that way i am nearby if you need help." He offered, his face soft and inviting. Nothing dangerous about him, just a man who wanted to help a woman in danger. Thankfully, a faery could lie with his expressions. OtherwiseCourtney Vincent would have been running for the hills.
-
Courtney just nodded slowly. Accepting his offer. She was tired and it wasn't like she had anywhere else to go. She planned on sneaking out while he was asleep. She had seen a window in the bedroom earlier and knew she could easily fit through it. She just hoped she was quiet enough to not wake him from his slumber. She shivered at his touch, electricity and cold coursing through her body where he touched her. "I love dragons." It was a simple true statement. She had gotten the tattoo at 16. After her mother had passed away. Her mom had loved dragons as much as she had. So she had gotten it as a reminder. "So you have dragons here?" She wanted to sleep but she was to curious. He was to exciting of a creature to pass up. Although part of her knew that the minute she laid down she would wake up under the rock again. Since this was all a dream, part of her wild imagination.
