Willow blinked tiredly and confused. " But" she stuttered for words but none came. Tiredness and confusion were written on her face. David patted her back gently. " Get some rest girl." he said and ran over to the dead storm. " He nudged the horse and lowered his head sadly. " I'm sorry"he mumbled.

The newest Storm snorted "Willow, I'm sorry this all happened." the stallion murmured looking at his brother's body and turned towards the filly he had taken care of when she was younger; they had grown up together and he had taken care of her his entire life until he had to leave for war. He had told her before he had left that he would take care of her forever. His twin had switched with him during the night and had told Willow that he didn't need to go to war that another colt had been taken as a substitute.
-
Quartz lowered his head, his warm breath stirring Sara's shoulder-length hair. She looked up to see the blood running from wounds on his back and stood, gently touching the tooth marks. She looked at David. "He's not hurt too bad."
-
Willow blinked unsure of what to say. " but" she stuttered but now it even hurt to talk. I don't understand she thought. Her eyes shut and she fell asleep immediately for her body was weaki and tired and it had just well sort of shut down except she was still alive. she looked so peaceful as sheslept but a tear rolled down her face.
-
Quartz snuffled Willow. "Hopefully she'll find at least a momentary peace in her dreams," he said softly. Lifting his head, he studied this new Storm. "So... his twin, I take it?"
-
David sighed and swallowed tears. He looked at Sara. " I should go get the horses food" he mumbled and walked into the shed shoving his hands in his pockets
-
Sara watched him go silently. She understood somewhat why David was so ready to get away.
Satisfied that Quartz would be all right, Sara knelt beside Storm's body. She ran her fingers through his mane, combing it out. -
David put his forehead on the wall. " you couldn't of saved him" he thought. and grabbed the horse feed. He holds it over his shoulder and his muscles twitched showing threw his muscle shirt.
Willow whimpered slightly .
OOC: Accepted Carlyrae lol

The new Storm nodded "Twin since birth. I went to war and my twin came by and he is the now-dead stallion.:"
-
feebee was sleeping in her "area" when she woke up to a cougar sitting just outside her sleeping area waiting stalking her, when she awoke the cougar growled when she neighed the cougar went out of the stables. Feebee is sure the cougar is bound to come back with it`s pack.
-
Willow snapped her open and a drop of sweat traveled down her back. Her blue eyes sparkled and she stood up not as soar as before but still in pain. She looked at Storm confused. " I don't understand" she said.
-
[carlyrae cougars aren't social... at all.]
Quartz said softly, "I'll let you two have a moment alone together?" He started to clop quietly away.
-
Willow watched Quarz go and breathed out a bit disappointed. She looked at Storm. " I don't understand" she repeated.

[You know, george, I thought of my own version of this bit of your siggie:
QuoteNo matter how many times i break down, there is always a part of me that says No your not done yet!
Here's my version:
"No matter how many times I break down, there is always a part of me that says, "You can go faster!"
...Or maybe that's my swim coach yelling at me from the side of the pool. *head surfaces* Yep, definently the swim coach."Came to me - what a surprise - during swim practice. LOL]
Sara walked quietly away, towards the barn. She quietly opened the door to find David standing, facing the wall, with the sack of feed over his shoulder. She came up beside him and stood, silent. Eventually, she said, "I'm not seeing what's so interesting about the wall."
-
tee hee haha lol xd face
-
Storm sighed "I'm the other Storm's twin brother. I was the one that raised you until the night you got caught with Storm. I was sent to war and my brother was trying to make you feel comfortable."
-
David smirked and let out a breath of a laugh. " Me neither" he lifted his head from the wall and smiled at Sara not showing his disappointment in himself. " You should have attended to both" he thought.
-
Despite David's brave face, his oldest friend saw right through it. "I know it hurts," she said gently. "It always does. I also know that it only makes it harder for me to say there's always one we can't save. So I'm not going to bother. I just..." She held out her hand. "I just don't want you to blame yourself." After a moment of thought, she added, "Or me, for that matter."
-
David looked down at his feet then back up at Sara. "" I couldn't blame you you did nothing wrong" he said. " But i should probibly get this feed to the horses." he said and walked towards the feeding troff.
Willow looked at Storm. " But" she said She wanted to ask thousands of questions but nothing came out.
-
Once David was gone, Sara scowled to herself. She hated it when she couldn't fix a problem that had to do with living beings. Ah, well. She would just have to weather this one out. After a moment of ruminating on this, she followed David out.
Quartz huffed softly as David emerged from the barn, passing the sorrel stallion. Quartz's large, blue-grey eyes watched David as the boy passed.
