RAINCLAN
(Under Construction)
Season: Greenleaf
Rain pours down from the skies as you walk through the forest. Trees tower above you, many higher than you had ever imagined. You search franticlly for shelter before your fur gets too wet and cold. It is already sticking to you. A flash of white catches your eye. You soon discover that it is a blue-gray she cat. Unlike you, the rain seemed to glide off her fur."oh, you poor thing. Come with me, and I will give you shelter in the Rainclan camp."Without waiting for an answer, she rushes you towards a place she calls the "RainClan camp". Before you know it, you have agreed to be part of this Clan, seeing as they gave you such good hospitality. This rainforest Clan is your future.

History:
A long time ago, a cat cat called Storm wandered into the Rainclan forest. He came from a disbanded clan and brought a few other cats with him. They named the clan Rainclan for the abundance of rain. It has been her ever since, and Storm and his friends, Thunder and Maple, are now legends told to the nursery kits.
Territory and Camp:
RainClan's territory is a temperate rainforest. Trees here are huge, with enormous heights and diameter. Tree climbing is an important skill in RainClan due to the size and quantity.
There is daily rainfall in RainClan territory. All of the cats in the Clan have grown used to it and it does not affect daily Clan life.
Greenleaf is mild and leaf-bare is cold.
Camp: Inside, around, and under a gigantic tree in the middle of the rainforest
Leaders Den: Inside a crack on the top of the tree.
Highbranch: A long thick branch just below the Leaders den where clan meeting start.
Warriors Den: At the bottom of the tree, in a large hole.
Apprentices Den: Above the Warriors Den, in a hole covered by a large leaf.
Nursery: A underground den and accessible through the Pathway. Fully bedded with moss.
Pathway: A winding, carved path located through the middle if the tree, connecting the dens together.
Medicine cats den: Next to the Nursery, also underground. Has a shortcut the the Star Cavern.
Territory: Rainclans territory goes until the very edge of the rainforest. Watch out for aggressive big cats, like tigers, and other animals!
The Waterfall: A place where cats fish. Also, behind the waterfall is where the medicine cats go visit Starclan every half moon.
Star Cavern: the cavern in which medicine cats visit Starclan.
Woodpaths: Woodpaths are elevated paths made from long pieces of wood. Twolegs can often be seen walking on them in large groups.
Shadow River: There are many rivers in RainClan territory. RainClan cats fish from here, especially in leaf-fall. Shadow River is the closest river to the camp.
Azure Sea: The sea is at the edge of RainClan territory. It is very rocky here, but it is a good source of easy food.
Prey:
Fish- from the streams and lakes
Monkies- Most monkies take a few cats to hunt them down, but it is a main source of prey.
Deer- One deer will feed the whole clan for a week. These are rare to find but can be taken down with a group of 4 or 5 warriors.
Squirrels, Mice, Voles, Hedgehogs and others - Hedgehogs can be hunted if you are careful and turn them over. Spikes are carefully removed every once in a while and delivered to the medicines cats den.
Other Animals:
Ocelots - Ocelots are big cats, twice the size of a clan cat. They have beautiful spotted fur, and a bad temper. They are quite common, and warriors must be careful for ocelots when they leave the camp. Ocelots are able to communicate with clan cats, but they almost never do, and they rarely even talk to each other.
Vampire bats - Vampire bats aren't awake in the day, but at night, cats must be careful not to fall asleep outside. They drink the blood of sleeping cats. Unfortunately, the bat's saliva contains a chemical that makes the wound bleed for longer than it should.
Army Ants - A single ant is nothing, Though together they can deal out some major damage. Be careful!
Foxes - You probably get the deal with foxes, if you've read any Warriors books, I mean. (If you haven't, what are you doing on this site?)
Bats - Most caves have bats living in them. Sometimes all the bats will suddenly fly out into the night sky, squeaking like crazy.
Giant Otter - Not as "giant" as you may think, these otters lives mostly in boggy, riverside places, and are not a threat, though females with pups can be agressive.
Pirahnas - Pirahnas are small, but they have enourmous teeth. They inhabit some small areas, and attack anything that falls into the water. Fortunately, they rarely do any fatal damage.
Caimans - Caimans are a type of crocodile. They are very rare, and they only attack when provoked. Cats must be careful, as they look like logs.
Electric eels - In the river there are many dangerous creatures, but worst of them all is the electric eel. It swims straight, and keeps an electric shield around itself. Contact with this eel can kill a cat.
Jaguars - A jaguar, like an ocelot, is a big cat. They are secretive, and they are good at not being seen. Jaguars communicate perfectly with clan cats, but rarely want to.
Herbs specific to the jungle:
There are also an abundance of poisonous plants in the jungle here. Never touch a plant you don't know well unless you are with a medicine cat.
