  • [font=georgia]Siren let out a breath as she padded across the Elite's new territory, the dirt collecting on the pads of her paws. A heaviness seemed to follow her, blue eyes just as neutral as ever but now carrying a slightly bleakness that was foreign to the personality filled she-cat. Her mussels seemed stiffer, her face harder, and mind busy. After a moon of seclusion, Siren was desperate. Desperate for a friend.

    "Harley?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]The sound of one of his closest friend's voice was like music to his ears. "Siren!" The tom called back, padding towards the she-cat with a smile on his handsome face. "What's up? I haven't seen you 'round lately!"[/fancypost]

  • [font=georgia]Siren felt her cold heart warm at the sight of her best friend. In a world full of ignorant cats, Harley was the exception. "I've been training, Lorem is going to dismiss me to be a full fledged member soon." she mewed with an air of importance. "How about you Harles?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]"That's awesome, Siren!" The tom responded, almost as if cheering the she-cat on. Siren had been his childhood crush; though he'd moved on the adoptive daughter of his best friend Sola, the mortem-ipsum still held a special place in his heart. The son of Roseblood found it ironic she called him by the same nickname her mother had dubbed him moons ago; Harles. "I've become a member, though not much else has been going on." He added with a slight sigh. [/fancypost]

  • [font=georgia]Siren nodded, feeling a slight tightening in her chest. A part of her missed the old days when the two of them were trainees, exploring the camp and making trouble for themselves. Now a part of their bond seemed to be stuck in limbo. Something Siren didn't like one bit. "I think we need to make something happen ourselves," mewed the she-cat, giving her friend a mischievous smirk.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]Harlequin's usual grin morphed into one of suspicion. He was an honest cat; one that never got into trouble.

    Being with Siren was sometimes a slight exception.

    The two of them had been partners in crime as trainees. Harley had felt at ease around the she-cat. He still did. "What do you have in mind, miss Siren?" was his teasing response. Ah, the chocolate lynx point hadn't realized how much he'd missed the mortem. [/fancypost]

  • Siren felt the tingling in her heart that had seemed to disappear over the last few moons. A part of her remembered a time when Harley had displayed signs of liking her, feelings she sometimes toyed with a smile or wink. Though if she had heard correctly, the tom had moved on, a fact that twisted at her stomach much more than it actually should.

    Allowing the mischievous smirk that was only designed for Harleyquinsong, Siren started to circle her friend giving the illusion of a shark ready to devour its prey. "You see the large round thing over there?," mewed Siren indicating the ferris wheel. "I think we should climb it."

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]Harlequin raised a nonexistent eyebrow. Climb the ferris wheel? Siren, though no longer his crush, would always be able to convince Harley.

    "Let's do it."[/fancypost]

  • [font=georgia]{your sick D:}

    Siren flicked her tail, signaling for the tom to follow her. In her mind she was grateful for this moment. Although she knew that Harley had moved on from his feelings for her, it was nice to spend time with him. She had truly missed her time with him, and regretted that she had not been there more. As she looked back at his handsome features, the mackerel tabby couldn't help but wonder if things would have been different then. But wondering was for the weak, and Siren knew the past couldn't be helped.

    Siren stopped in front of the ferris wheel, feeling the excitement and adrenaline that filled her whenever she was about to do something dangerous. The feeling was unhealthy, a weakness, but Siren craved it. Looking over at Harley, she flicked her tail. "Ladies first," she mewed cheekily, indicating her friend.

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0pt]Harlequin chuckled, springing up into the first cart. "Don't worry Siren, you don't need to hide the fact that you're too scared to go first," The tom replied, a sparkle in his eye.
