  • Lightfoot was out in the forest, stalking a sparrow. It hopped about, ruffling its feathers for a moment. The white and sandy patched she-cat tensed up her muscles and pounced, landing ontop of the bird. She bit its neck, making it fresh-kill.

  • Nightwind silently walked through the forest. She loved hunting for the clan and was really good at it. However she seemed to be having no luck in finding prey. She continued through the territory her black pelt camouflaged into the shadows. She sniffed the air and caught the scent of prey Finally something to catch she whispered to herself. Nightwind quietly followed the scent. Until she finally caught up with the animal, a squirrel, she crouched on the ground and stalked the prey, silently and swiftly she attacked the small creature which was know limp in her jaws. Success she thought. Nightwind started to search for a well hidden spot to hide the fresh kill from other predators. She searched all around until she spotted Lightfoot one of her clanmates. Nightwind walked over to the she cat and greeted her Hello Lightfoot

  • Upon hearing her name Lightfoot looked up to see Nightwind. She blinked her icy blue eyes and sat erect. "Hello Nightwind! Prey running well for you?"

  • No not really she told the she cat as she placed her freshkill under a bush how about you?

  • Silvertalon ignored the other cats, and opened her mouth slightly, trying to see if there was any prey around. She scented there was a vole close by. She put her stomach to the ground, and her tail flickered. When she was a fox-length away, she pounced on it, and before it could squeak, she bite into it's neck, and burried it under the snow, meaning to come back to later. She inhaled, searching for more fresh kill.

  • Swift Leap bounded through the forest pricking her ears for the slightest sound. This snow is driving most of the prey to hidingthought Swift Leap in disgust. She slowly padded around the dense snow. She suddenly heard the sound of a tiny heart beating.Mousethought Swift Leap with delight. She located the tiny animal and found her prey over on the other side of a snow covered log.She peered over the log and tensed her muscles. She leaped on the her unsuspecting prey and felt the mouse go limp in her mouth. She found a spot under a clump of snow covered ferns and buried her prize so no predators would find it.

  • Silvertalon opened her mouth slightly, and couldn't sense anything, so she walked around until she could smell a squirrel. A squirrel! She thought. She had no clue what a squirrel what it would be doing in mid-Leafbare, but she didn't care. She got down on her stomach, and when she was close enough, she pounced, and killed it instantly.

  • Swift Leap spotted Silver Talon and meowed "Hello, Silver Talon."Swift Leap bounded over to Silver Talon and saw her freshly caught squirrel,"Nice catch!"She replied her eyes wide in amazement.

  • Silvertalon looked up at Swiftleap. "Thanks," she purred. She knew there wasn't many squirrels in mid-leafbare. She yawned, bored. She opened her mouth slightly, and could tell there was a mouse close by. She got down on her stomach, and when she was a rabbit- hop away, she jumped on it, and bite into it's throght. She hoped the rest of the day would be as sucsessful as she had been doing.

  • SwiftLeap left SilverTalon countine with her hunt in peace and padded east.SwiftLeap thought she was far enough from intruding SilverTalon`s hunt and open her jaws slightly. The scents of the forest rushed in her mouth but she picked out the scent of mouse.Wow, who knew so much prey would come out in leaf-bare. thought SwiftLeap. She spotted her prey scuttling among the bracken and snow.SwiftLeap crouched down and she kept her tail down. She felt her paws tingling with excitement but she kept herself still. The plump mouse scampered near her hiding spot. That mouse is more mouse-brained then I thought.SwiftLeap jumped out her claws unsheathed and killed the mouse with one swift blow. She smiled happily and buried her kill under a tree root.
