Azyle was blushing ferociously when Keith let go. "W-wait!" Azyle shouted. "If you are going & we are never to see one another again I think it is fine for you to know our REAL names" she glanced at her sister. "My sisters name is Terry & I am Azyle" she said holding her handout for a handshake.
-
Terry rolled her eyes at her sister, but didnt try to stop her as she told Keith their names. She looked at the hurt angel, frowning. "Really? I mean, its not like we keep a low profile, so thats not a huge surprise." She loooke closer at the angels features, recognition sending a small spark to her brain. "You do look familiar. Have we bumped into you in the sky before?" She asked.
-
"Kieth" he said taking the hand shake "oh and my sister" he said pointing to a furious looking kailey "kailey"
-
Azyle smiled gently at Kailey, noticing her unimpressed expression. "Its very nice to meet you" she said, then turned her attention to the angel beside them. "What happened to your leg?!" Azyle asked immediatly blocking her nose against the smell of blood.
-
Terry could tell her sister was struggling to block the sharp scent of blood coming from the injured angel. She was also having a hard time, but she had trained herself to ignore it, and it had paid off. All the same, she edged slightly away from the bleeding wound, then looked at Kieth and Kailey. "Nice to meet you." She murmured, then looked back at the angel, awaiting an answer.
-
"here" kieth said holding a first aid pack "first patch up that leg he gestured to Azyle "befor the scent goes to her head"
-
Azyle frowned slightly at them but stepped back to her sister. "How are we going to travel?" She asked her. "My wings busted so I can't fly & we won't cover enough ground everyday if we walk! & we HAVE to get to the meeting before the fight!" She let out a exhausted sigh & sat on the ground, rubbing her eyes.
-
Terry took the pack from Kieths hand. "Here, Ill do it." She said, then moved towards the angel. She pulled out antiseptic, cotton and bandages, then cleaned the wound, dabbed it dry, and bandaged it tight, all the while keeping her blood sucking instincts down. And she was doing a pretty good job of it, for a vampire anyway. Unlike Azyle, who hadnt yet strengthened herself.
-
Kip just watched, seeming very amused. "Ok." She gave a slight smile. "Thank you." She hadn't winced once, and seemed comfortable at any rate.
-
Azyle looked up at Keith Kailey & Kip. "What are you doing in the forest anyway? My sister & I are traveling"
-
"I dont know.I guess I stumbled on this place." Kip shrugged as she sat down.
-
" Oh, well your welcome to travel along with us...but we are going to the meeting between the dark King & the other creatures who would like freedom from his reign over the Land." Azyle said with a slight tightness in her voice.
-
kieth and kailey looked at each other then back at the group "i think we should join you" said kieth
-
Azyle smiled. "Wonderful! & you? She asked Kip.
-
Terry gave a tight smile. She didn't mind extra travellers, but she and her sister usually flew. It took much quicker, but with the accompaniment, it would probably take four days. They had to get there by full moon, which was ironically in four days. "Then we need to leave now." She said, nodding to Kieth and Kailey. She looked at Kip. "Care to join us?" She asked.
-
As everyone waited for Kip's answer Azyles nose twitched. Unlike her sister, who had been a vampire for quite a while now, Azyle was still new to the whole idea. She only became a vamp 3 weeks ago. & a side effect of being a new vampire is that you are much more sensitive to scents...& the scent that Azyle was picking up was so strong her vision seemed to go hazy. The smell stung her notrils & she moaned slightly as sweat broke out on her forehead. The scent forced her back onto her feet & she slowly started walking towards the edge of the tree line. Towards the blood...
-
Terry didn't notice her sister, too pre-occupied with trying to be aware of the danger in front of her.
-
kieth saw Azyle wondering away and decided to follow her grabbing the knife secured in his sleeve "so what side do you guys come down on?" he asked her
-
"Sure." Kip gave a wide smile. She liked traveling alone but it would be nice with friends.
