Trance smiled back. "You are an amazing singer. Anybody would be stupid to say otherwise."

"At least you aren't denying the fact that you're good." she blushed.

"yeah. ." he noticed her blush and chuckled. (Take him to vampire central!)

Trance smiled when he chuckled and got an idea. "Let me take you somewhere...please." she reached out to him.

Kyaine smiled back at her. "okay dazzle me" he grabbed her hand.

Lace laughed. "Thanks. And I prefer jeans and boots myself, but you might have to help a little."

"That might be a challenge I'm wiling to take you up on." Trance laughed and led him toward base.

"good" he smiled.

Trance smiled and led him out of the trees and looked over her shoulder like she always did. She smiled at Kyaine and turned a corner into a busy street. "I know a short-cut. Let's take that instead." she said as she whipped around and walked to the woods.

"okay" he smiled.

"Ah, here we are." Riku said as the town grew bigger through the trees. "Time for a new t-shirt!" He winked at Lace. "And maybe this time I'll make it green. What do you think? Can i pull it off?"

Lace laughed brightly. "I think you can," she said. "Green suits you." The city grew closer. "Not that being barefoot is too harsh on my feet or anything, but boots can pack a decent kick if we run into trouble."

"You know, i never thought of that before." Riku said, looking down at his worn black shoes. "That is a good idea!"

Trance stepped out from the trees and stared out at a big building. "We're here." she sighed.

Kyaine looked at the big building. "wow" he was amazed by the size of the building.

Lace smiled. "We should both get boots. Heels aren't for me, no matter how much they hurt the enemy, so normal combat boots should be okay for both of us, if that's okay with you. Combat boots are tough, hence the name."

Trance smiled. "Well? Shall we go inside? Or stand out here and gawk at it?" she teased.
